yes, it can be use for s'mores as long as the fuel used is non-toxic.

In my opinion there’s not enough room in the bed and besides you’d be pouring the alcohol solution used to saturate the cotton bed over them all the time and would ultimately discolor them. So my answer is no….. Hope this help. I love the two I bought and they look fabulous on my tables as the evening darkness falls☺️
