Eagle Furniture Manufacturing Coastal Dining Buffet & Hutch, 40", Concord Cherry (72941WPCC-72942PLCC)

The buffet and hutch are good looking and easy to put together (they ship in two packages). BUT they are poorly packaged and the handling by the shippers AWFUL. I have had to deal with several separate shippings. The glass doors and the glass shelf came broken in the in one. In the replacement shipment , the glass shelf was broken. The inside of the hutch was marked by the broken glass and the glass in the doors was scratched. The glass was not separately wrapped, then packed and then placed inside the cabinet with packing. The glass doors were not packed and wrapped. The package which contained the buffet was marked as fragile with glass. It had no glass in it. The hutch was marked fragile, also but did not say it contained glass nor did it note which side was up.I have kept this last shipment. I have a cabinet maker who is going to stain the marking in the hutch and replace the glass. I don't feel it is worth the time and effort to go through the replacement shipment process again.

Once assembled it is a very nice piece. I was looking for a piece to fit in between two windows and this worked perfectly! The delivery was very particular it took a while to disable, but I guess it is a good thing because there was no scratch or broken pieces. I gave it a four star for a few reasons. First, it did not come with instructions even thought it said no assembly required a few important things needed to be pointed out to put the two pieces together.(thank to my husband that is very handy and could figure it out) Second, the light inside is battery operated very cheap looking( not worth the price I paid) And Finally, the finish was so much more darker than expected and wish they send a sample to clarify all the different finishes! Overall a good piece!

What a beautiful piece of furniture. Well made and very well packaged. Fit and finish are excellent.
