Great for halloween effects!
The media could not be loaded. I have not tried this projector with a movie, but I used it on Halloween to project hollusion effects in my front yard. I purchased 3 yds of grey chiffon material, and used it as a rear projection screen using atmosfx bone chillers, some tombstones and a fog machine. It was great. Watch the video, it's the one on the right.

Amazing! Sub-par quality
Amazing! Sub-par quality, but you get what you pay for. For $50 it's better than what I expected. Speaker is low quality, but it can be fixed with an AUX cord.

Really poor image quality.
Really poor image quality. Even at close range, 2-3 feet, the image is not sharp. At 5 feet, image is almost unrecognizable. The manual focus does not move smoothly, so it makes it even harder to get in focus. Definitely not worth the $40 I paid for it.

If your trying to do PowerPoint presentation or movies I wouldn’t recommend, but if you are doing it for lighting your home then maybe this would work. I had to return it.
