I can tell that Coolibar did their due diigence in research & development for this shapeable hat.So many shapeable hats fail to produce an actually pleasing shape.This hat can be folded and reshaped, and you can't actually tell that it was folded.Is it 100% perfectly shaped? Not quite, but it looks great in (real life) photos.The brim is also extra wide, so I know I'm getting excellent coverage.And I completely appreciate the adjustable strap.I wore this on vacation to Arizona with both sun protection and style in mind, and I wear this in the garden for 12-hour shifts. It survived TSA in a folded state and hasn't failed me yet.

Perfect for full face coverage. I read reviews that the hat was huge. The size was just perfect for what I’m looking for. I love the style of the hat, especially when you’re traveling where you need to have sun protection! I found that it was easy to fold for traveling. Once unfolded, I did not find that it lost shape. It’s really comfortable and I would buy it again.

I bought this hat for a trip to Morocco. I wanted a hat with a very wide brim that would pack easily, since I would be traveling around the country and repacking my bag daily. This hat is exactly what I needed. The hat rolls up really easily to pack and then unrolls again without becoming deformed. In the one trip, I probably rolled and unrolled this hat about 15 times and it still looks great. When you're wearing it, the brim can be molded to give you better protection based on your needs. Also excellent is the chin strap. My travel companions brought hats that didn't have chin straps and they were constantly wishing they had. It's definitely a very wide brim, but I think you can make it look elegant with the right outfit. One tourist I ran into (a stranger), made a snide comment about the size of the hat and laughed at me a little but I didn't care: his skin looked like old leather from sun exposure while I, on the other hand, spent nearly 3 weeks in the Moroccan sun without getting a single sunburn.

This is not how an over $60 hat should be packaged. Do better Coolibar. Hat arrived destroyed.

This hat is huge! It’s pretty heavy though.

After a recent skin cancer diagnosis, I bring this hat everywhere. I love that it rolls up into nothing and when I need it, I can open it up and it looks great. Plus the coverage is exactly what I need!!

Me encanta, personalmente tengo que cuidarme del sol y me va super bien, aunq lo hubiese preferido en color obscuro para que no se ,me ensucie tanto!

I wanted to like this hat. It holds up to the wind well, provides lots of protection from sun, but it's a little dangerous, as your peripheral vision is really compromised. More than once, crossing the street, I couldn't see cars, pedestrians, etc. If they just reduced it by a couple of inches, I think that would have good sun protection, without the safety hazard of not seeing when walking:((
