I guess this review is more for the straighteners themselves. I am an electrician and have never seen such a well thought out appliance. The terminals are labeled, the screws are not in awkward places, and the replacement takes no time at all. The fact that these fuses come in 2s does suggest however that the appliance is prone to overcurrent. I believe this is due to putting it down on the side with the fuse while hot. My wife always puts it down with the switch facing up, which means the fuse is on her dresser and the hot plate is on top. I believe this may contribute to the blowing of the fuse. She now rests them on their side instead. I guess time will tell.

Perfect fit and operation. No soldering necessary, but you do have to have a little DIY electronics skill. Only needed one when the package contained two, so I guess I’ve got a spare now.

The new fuse worked great in my GHD flat iron. Thanks to YouTube and these fuses, I was able to replace the blown fuse and save $100 since I didn’t have to buy a new flat iron. I only needed one fuse so now I have a spare. I’m a very happy customer.
