Cheap, all the keys you want, lit, no fancy RGB lights, comfortable to type on
I own a dozen keyboards of various types, but I've settled on the 96% keyboard as my preferred form factor, having all the keys available (some of my use cases require the numpad) and I prefer a mechanical keyboard over the other types. When my daily runner 96% developed a mechanical fault, I do have another keyboard as an emergency, but I need a 96% replacement until I figure out the problem. And a quick search brought me to this one.The value for this keyboard is quite good, by stripping out the fancy-shmancy features, such as no RGB lights (just "cold cyan"), and no wireless (just a female USB-C port). Instead, you find unobtrusive red switches. The keyset has a dark grey / light grey colorway that's aesthetically neutral enough. The keys are your average ABS plastic dual-layer keys that lets light and legend shine through. Though one nice thing is the makers included some extra red keys in the box for the modifiers, WASD, arrow keys, and a couple of numpad keys, why is there a 3-space horizontal INSert key?One thing to nitpick: there is no homing dot or bar on the arrow keys, which makes the arrow keys a bit hard to find unless you are very familiar with this layout. There are some lighting pattern effects, but they are not important. The case itself is dark grey to match the darker keys in the colorway. There are 4 "feet" in the case bottom, and two single-position pop-out feet. The keyboard, being only wired, is plug-and-play, needing no drivers.Another minor nit-pick... The first sample I ordered from Amazon was DOA (dead on arrival), will not light up upon plugging in, and there's really nothing to troubleshoot. Thanks to Amazon's excellent return policy, I got a replacement before I had to send in the old one for exchange. Though the way Amazon shipped this... directly in the keyboard box, with no cushion, may be a part of the problem. All in all, for the price I paid (which is less than HALF of what I paid for my other 96%, albeit that has RGB lights and wireless) this is a good bargain keyboard that serves my needs. Just beware, the 96% does require some compromise in some key sizes if you want to replace the keys with custom keysets. I.e. the regular 104/107 keysets would be missing a few keys to accommodate the 96%. Watch out. Other than that, this is one solid keyboard for a good price.

Good value for a mechanical keyboard
I’m not a gamer but do a lot of work in excel using key commands and like the feedback of of mechanical keyboards. This keyboard feels great and is a good for travel since it is compact and retains a full 10-key.I saw some comments about the cord not being durable but mine has held up for a month and withstanding travel with connecting/disconnecting and packing up. Easy to get a replacement cord though so I am not concerned. The way the letters are printed on the keys makes some of them appear blurry when the backlight is on. Also, backlight isn’t completely even throughout the whole keyboard. The way the 8,9,0, CapsLock, and Tab keys are printes don’t allow the backlight to clearly show what they says. All that being said my expectations were not high given the price point for a mechanical keyboard. Overall I am satisfied and enjoy using this keyboard and would recommend if you are on a budget and need a 96% keyboard that is minimalistic (no RGB or lot of color variety in key caps).

Very good keyboard for the price!
I picked up this keyboard around Black Friday to add to my WFH set up. I wanted to elevate my laptop with a stand to bring it up to eye level, which gave me a great reason to pick up a mechanical keyboard with that old school click key sound and backlighting. I also wanted a full keypad. And I didn't want to spend a lot. So this keyboard checked off everything I wanted.I like this keyboard a lot. It has nice key travel and a good clicky sound. It feels very substantial and I can't detect any flexing when typing. I'm visually impaired, so I like having a back lit keyboard. It offers several backlighting patterns with a pulsing effect with each key stroke. Might be cool for gaming, but I just use the standard backlighting on.This leads me to my chief complaint about this keyboard. It is back lit, but the key caps are not transparent at all, so the lighting comes from around the keys rather than through the keys. I love the color scheme of the included key caps, but I'm considering getting some that have transparent lettering.I can't speak to longevity, as I have only had this a few months. It has been used a lot since purchase and everything seems fine. Overall, I don't think you can go wrong with this keyboard. Good features and performance for a great price!

Full feature keyboard in a very compact size!!!
Fantastic keyboard for the home flight simmer!!!! I use this keyboard in between my Thrustmaster HOTAS flight sticks and it's a fantastic DCS or MSFS setup. I believe the only key that isnt there is insert? Which is fine. What I lose in 1 key that I never use thats missing is a very compact keyboard that lets me hotkey all my commands. Further, I don't have to constantly setup or breakdown my board and controllers. I can comfortably play MSFS or DCS and immediately launch Cyberpunk or Helldivers 2.Lastly, my HOTAS setup is not at all too far apart. My arms do not get fatigued like they did with a full length 104 keyboard. They keys are very nice and quiet but still have that delicious mechanical key haptic feedback when you press them. I really like the included orange keys for WASD and other FPS keys that make finding key home a breeze. I bought the black and white version and like the contrast. If I'm nitpicking, I would have preferred them in bright red, but orange works for its intended role. Sides, free is free!Unsure if this would work as a workstation keyboard or for other work related tasks. With time and use perhaps, but that wasn't even in my list of needs.Overall, 100% satisfied! Magee delivered a solution the big peripheral companies didn't even come close to solving. Highly recommend.
