Good quality tank--needs better packaging
I added this tank to my Fleetwood 24' rv about a year ago. It is the same size as the original LP tank, so I doubled my propane capacity, which is very handy if you do alot of boondocking! The tank arrived with one of the mounting brackets bent -- not a huge problem if you have the tools to straighten it, but an unnecessary hassle just the same. Better packaging would easily solve this apparently not uncommon problem. Propane tanks are filled to 75-80% capacity, so this tank holds about nine gallons of LP gas. I'm a retired plumber, so installation wasn't much of a problem -- the toughest part for me was making a 3/4 plywood box to house the tank -- but if you need to hire someone to install and hook up the tank, it might get a little expensive. I consider adding this tank an excellent upgrade if you want to increase your propane capacity without the hassle of BBQ bottles. This is a good quality ASME tank at a reasonable price.

Great fit for 2000 Dynamax
I found this to be the only 12 gallon horizontal tank on the market and was really hoping it would work. The construction is solid and everything works. No damage in shipping. I had my mechanic install it since I did have to make some modifications to the coach. The original installation involved carriage bolts through particle board, not the best idea. Really happy with the product.

DOES NOT FIT A 2008 SPRINTER VAN
I bought this for my Sprinter. It hangs down too low. Modifications to the brackets ate impossible, because valves are blocked by the frame if the mounts are cut shorter. I returned the tank.

L'article nous est arrivé endommagé car l'un des support était crochi ayant reçu un choc. Nous avons pu le réparer nous-même mais est resté dépeinturer à l'endroit du bris.
