A bit smaller, but same high level performance. Axial has taken all that you've come to love and appreciate in the Yeti chassis, but shrunk it down to 1/18th scale. It’s powered by a 380 sized brushed motor which provides the perfect amount of torque and speed for this tiny rock racing monster. Also featuring a bespoke all-in-one programmable Tactic ESC and receiver, paired with a 3-wire micro high torque steering servo. At the end of the day, the goal was to build a simple, fun, and easy to drive Yeti that anyone can handle. The hardest part about the Yeti Jr.™ Rock Racer is making sure you have enough battery packs charged in order to keep the adventure alive! 380 Sized brushed motor All-in-one programmable Tactic ESC and receiver High torque steering servo 1/18th Scale Ready-To-Run Complete EVERYTHING YOU NEED IS INCLUDED! In a fast paced world where space is limited and ease of use is paramount, charging the supplied Onyx 6-cell NiMH battery needs to be simple and convenient. This is where the Onyx USB NiMH Charger comes into play. It’s small, compact, and easy to operate. That’s all that's required. Simply plug into a USB power source and plug the NiMH battery into the charger and you're charging. DURATRAX ONYX 7.2V NiMH BATTERY Other batteries make claims to charge / discharge rates that can’t be substantiated, but Onyx packs are true rated, so they deliver on their performance promises. Now there are more capacity and configuration options to choose from, and all are priced to fit within a sport modeler's budget! AA BATTERIES The radio is powered by four AA alkaline batteries (included). AR18 Solid Axile To help keep the scale premise in check, simply shrinking down an existing axle was just not an option. In keeping the proportions correct along with yielding ample terrain clearance a new axle was designed, the AR18. Features include a com

Nice tires. Will complement my unfinished Yeti XL nicely
Just unboxed the YetiJr! First impression...wow it is small & that's a lot of plastic. Nice tires. Will complement my unfinished Yeti XL nicely. At first, it felt like something u buy @ Walmart but when u pop the hood then u see this a serious vehicle. Out the box, it has a lil punch and the 4wd helps it churn through my freshly cut lawn but its in desperate need of some LiPo thrust. For me, I plan on bashing the Jr only in the yard and chasing the ice cream truck down the street. But if u plan on doing what u see in the Axial Jr promo vid then let's hope Hot Racing is rolling out the upgrades! Now i went ahead and purchased the Castle Creations Micro but Im going to ride with the stock motor for a few months. Also, the steering was sticking to the right every now & then (I might upgrade the servo when I install the Castle). Overall, I believe I'll be satisfied with it...unless I start breaking stuff in the backyard.

and love them all
I am an Axial fan. I have 7 Axials. From SCX10s to my 1/10 score trophy truck and 1/10 Yeti... and love them all... I purchased the 1/18 score trophy truck and the yeti jr. Major disappointments. Replaced steering servos in both. Batteries in both last 2 minutes. I am now converting both trucks to use Traxxas batteries. Hope this will resolve the issue on the battery. YouTube videos brag about axials customer service... I had opposite experience. After several emails they wanted me to ship both units to them at my expense. I guess if I had a YouTube channel with 1 million subscribers they would just send me the steering servos. Axial needs to re-engineer these both.

Box shready
It rips right our of the box. And will last the way if you leave it. I went looking for more and had an issue as soon as I put in 2s lipo, esc is supposed to be lipo compatible. Axial was very fast and helpful in getting a replacement. I wasn't satisfied with the servo for crawling so I upgraded it to Savox SH-0263 from Amazon along with every GPM drive train and steering part. Now I'm satisfied.

Avoid Axial
This thing has been a complete headache since we bought it. After taking it out of the box and getting the battery to charge the battery retainer clip broke the first time it was used. That's okay, we have leftover twist-ties from our tortilla bags. Then the steering servo went, got a better one and it lasted a couple more hours before the gears stripped in the front differential. Glued that all back together and it lasted about 20 minutes before breaking the plastic diff where the metal axle meets the plastic on the diff. Called Axial and got some b.s. story about this being an entry level car to get people excited about R/C and moving up to better equipment. Yeah, I'm excited to move up to better equipment such as Dromida or Traxxas.
