Just what it claims to be
The nice thing about this book is it is what it claims to be a beginners tutorial to the world of computer networking. It is been stripped down to the bare bones and presented in as nontechnical a manner as possible for those who are not familiar with the technical jargon of computer networking. A good first book starting point. I recommended for those starting out in computer networking it gives you the basics you need to start with so that you can progress to more technical tutorials. Well written and I think they hit a bull's-eye with following their intentions. I think I will be looking for more books by this author seeing as how he did so well with this one.

Don't waste your money!!!!
Very very basic and very very brief, not worth the money. No way that it will help anyone with becoming a CCNA

Informative but nothing to do with Cisco
This is a good intro for someone who is brand new to the concept of networking as it pertains to Information Technology, but it has absolutely nothing to do with Cisco specifically. I would have given it more stars if the title was true to the content. Kind of think it was given this title to garner more interest.

Good introduction to networking concepts
This was a good introduction to networking concepts, but it did not include the glossary. Other than that, it was a good read.

Full of technical errors and spelling mistakes.
"The ultimate guide" - I don't think so. It barely covers anything. The booklet (as it wasn't big enough for me to actually consider it a book) was full of spelling mistakes and formatting errors. The scope of the booklet was so limited, anyone actually looking at gaining Cisco CCNA will find this almost useless. The information that it did cover was either patchy or just plain wrong.I'd suggest looking elsewhere.

DO NOT BUY THIS RUBBISH PAMPHLET!!!
Be sensible and avoid this trash publication at all costs. The information contained in this poorly written and badly spellchecked pamphlet is worthless at best. As soon as I opened the envelope that arrived from Amazon I realised I had been conned. The 'book' is literally 5mm thick, has hardly any pages and the text size on the pages is so big it reminded me of a Primary School story book for 5 year olds!POOR SHOW AMAZON!!
