Q: Are they made in China?

The ones I bought were manufactured in China. Nice enough bowls but they were not Japanese made. I ended up buying them because I was not careful in checking about the manufacture before I ordered them.

Hi, Yes, the colors of these bowls are bright and vibrant. The outside has an embossed bamboo lattice design in pale white blue. The inside has a design of four different flowers in cobalt blue and white. The bowl and the picture are the same. Q: Do they get hot when reheating food in them in the microwave?
