For reference I am a woman who has bought these shorts, not for my husband.I sent off for the men’s shorts in a size 34” waist. Ladies sizing I am usually a size 14.I would have actually fitted nicely in the 32” however I didn’t want the shorts digging in my waist.So the 34” yes a tad big, but ultimately perfect for my needs.I often buy men’s shorts, and all sorts because I prefer the length and not the skinny types of women’s clothing.These shorts are a lovely darker army style, more so a really dark green, and I love them.Obviously it’s Autumn now so won’t be wearing, but all ready for next year.The current price buying nearer the winter was spot on, and represents excellent value.So you are aware, you cannot turn this shorts up, because the pockets reach to the bottom of the shorts.There are six generous pockets, quite deep, and big enough for most mobile phones, keys etc.These shorts are very lightweightSo to the six pockets, the back two pockets, one either side are closed with one button each.The front side pockets are deep, with no Velcro or buttonBoth sides front facing lower down the thigh are two either side pockets, again very deep, fixed with Velcro.The zip at the front is satisfying with a decent sewn button.You can wear a belt, the shorts have five inserts to keep the belt attached.I like the shorts and being a bit baggy around my thighs and legs.The sewing or machine work is fine, not perfect straight lines, however cannot be seen.Really looking forward to next year to wear.I wouldn’t hesitate buying another pair.Highly recommended for men and women.⭐️Thank you the seller⭐️I hope my review helps you

Nice shorts but the pockets are very shallow. Money and phone falls out when sitting down if you are not careful.

Really pleased. Size is excellent - been a 34" for years, and these fit perfectly - a little room, but would use a belt anyway (Weird Fish ones bought last year had to be changed to a 36) Material is a good thickness cotton, nice deep pockets, and they finish just above the knee. Perfect for gardening / work or going out.

Nice fitting shorts just the job for golf.
