Good...if not great...speed, easy to set up and good price
Using on an older Win7 PC, 15ft/direct line-of-sight from my router...so, I don't know what its true broadcast range is.Exactly as advertised, good build quality, the driver on the included CD-ROM installed quickly, and it recognized both my 5GHz and 2.4GHz WiFi networks immediately. The slim build also means that it doesn't partially block adjacent USB ports.I would have given it 5 starts, except that it delivers noticeably slower download speeds than both my company laptop and smartphone...when all three are tested from the same desk, using speedtest, net. The Adapter delivers download speeds between 140-15Still, the speeds are consistently good, if not great; and, you can't beat the speed:price ratio. If you can live with these speeds from your 5GHz network, than I recommend this Adapter

Nice Wireless Adapter
Wideland AC 600Mbps Wireless Adapter, Dual Band USB Wifi dongle with Antenna came nicely packed without any damage. I used this Wifi dongle with my Raspberry Pi Old version which does not have inbuilt wifi and this worked great for me. This wifi dongle support 802.11ac standard, also it is backward compatibility with 802.11 a / b / g / n standards. I tested both 2.4G and 5.8G on my PC running on Windows 10 and it works great for me (Please note to use 5.8 G, your router should support that frequency). Windows 10 is able to recognize this adapter and no need to install the driver from the CD. Its built-in antenna gives better wireless coverage.Package Includes---------------1 x AC600 WiFi Adapter with Antenna1 x CD with driver1 x Manual

WiFi Adapter works well straight out of the box with Windows 10 desktop
I needed an inexpensive solution to connect my HP Pavilion desktop computer to my mobile phone hotspot due to recent prolonged outages from my Internet Service Provider. The desktop runs Windows 10; it does not have an in-built wireless connection and is normally wired directly to my router.I was concerned about purchasing this particular adapter as some reviewers had commented on set up problems with Windows 10 devices.I simply plugged this adapter into the front USB slot on my desktop and it self-installed in within 1 minute ( Note: I did not use the enclosed mini-disk with adapter drivers). I unplugged my wired internet connection, the device recognized my home WiFi, prompted me for the security code and established a wireless connection without difficulty.I ran some speed tests and got results similar to those from the wired connection (that is, the bandwidth of about 15 Mp/s is limited by my ISP service contract, not by the adapter).I am satisfied that I now have an option for continued Internet access from my laptop using my mobile phone hotspot feature next time my ISP service is interrupted.

They die right after return window closes.
Ordered 6 of these in total for miner rigs. All 6 of these are dead now. They might great for occasional use. But sustained daily use they are not. They lose connection regularly as a warning before the totally crap out it seems. Look elsewhere. I have 2 yr old edimax ones that are still going strong. Pissed i wasted money on these since they were so "well" rated.

Works well so far.
Had it a week now and it seems to work great. Kinda has the same interface as a wifi adapter from a laptop. It can be a wifi hotspot. Not a feature I will use much, but kinda cool. So far works good. Windows 10 started using it right away. I dont think it even needed to download drivers at all. Must have had them in the local install. If it ever stops working I'll redo this review. But otherwise seems to work well. Gonna try it with a wifi hotspot on my phone pretty soon. See how it does with 4G.

Received a dud? Great customer support!
I purchased this about two months ago and unfortunately the unit died unexpectedly about a week ago. I tried plugging it into multiple computers and different usb ports but nothing seemed to get it to light up or turn on. First impression was certainly not great which was surprising seeing as how highly this adapter is rated. The good: I contacted Wideland via email and they sent me a new one free of charge which has been working great so far. Hopefully this one lasts. Great customer support!

At first it was great. Easy installation
At first it was great. Easy installation, worked right out of the box. HOWEVER, the connection is not consistent. The signal drops and gets disconnected. It is not even smart enough to reconnect automatically. You have to go in there and manually reconnect. It is fine if you are at your computer but if you are like me backing up my system off site (initial backup), I need to keep the computer online constantly 24 hours a day. Too bad I threw away the packaging, otherwise this is going back.
