Poor quality - worked less than six months
The tray will no longer stay down, so in order to toast, you have to manually hold it down. This started happening after less than 6 months of light usage. I am certainly not impressed by the quality of this toaster. My old Bodum toaster had the very same problem, so I am really tired of bad quality toasters. How difficult can it really be to build a toaster that works?Update: seller sent me a replacement unit. Unfortunately it was a different model and color, but good customer service. So far so good

The basket thing on the top really didn't fit right or I wasn't strong enough to pinch it into place so that went to the garbage but the toaster is adorable looking, like dotted swiss fabric, on my counter. It works ok....not like an expensive toaster as you really have to push the lever down firmly to start the device but it's great for a single person for toast in the morning. Makes me happy.
