These little things are troopers! I'm starting to shop for a replacement, but these have served me so well!First of all, I've worn these around my neck for an average of 12 hours per day, 6 days per week over the last 2 years. I wouldn't be surprised if people stopped recognizing me if I took them off. Of those 12 hours, they are probably turned on for 11 of them, and actively playing audio for around 3-4 (again, these numbers are all averaged out over the 2 years). I've also worn them in around 30-40 showers, and had them on in the rain a couple dozen times.Moreover, I have 4 kids and love to wrestle with them, read to them with them on my lap, and other things that smash and mangle headphones. While I've lost a few of the rubber ear pieces (but those are a dime a dozen), all this abuse hasn't created any major issues.THEY STILL WORK! The battery still lasts 2 days most of the time unless I play sound longer than I do on the average day. That means my battery life is about 6-8 hours of play-time plus 16 hours of stand-by time. The microphone still works fine for phone calls, too (Only complaint there is it picks up background noise a lot, so it's not great for in the car). The audio is still great. The bluetooth still has plenty of range.They still work but are not starting to fall apart. The cords are fraying around the earphones, and one is starting to crack in the middle as well. Because of that opening, I'm not wearing them in the shower anymore.I wanted to write this review because I used and abused these suckers and have gotten a lot of use out of them for only $50. Based on my averages, I've probably listened to about 2,500 hours of audio, and had them powered on and around my neck for like 7,500 hours. That's 2 cents per hour of play-time! These are awesome headphones and I hope they become available on Amazon again!

I've had these Leophile Eel's since early 2017 and they are still fantastic. They have a good bass response, maybe not quite as strong as my Sony MBRXB50 but it's more balanced. The Sony's can be a bit much on bass at times. The sound quality is great, better than my MBR's in my opinion. The battery still gives me hours of use, maybe not 10 like they did when I bought them, but I don't have a problem with the battery lasting after over 2 years. The only thing that is worn is right at the bud's, the plastic sheath has split and bow's a bit. Doesn't seem to compromise the wire strength though and they work perfectly fine. My experience has been excellent and I have them around my neck right now.

mic was broken but i see a few reviews saying it might be because i wore them in the shower regardless i dont use the mic anyway these were my headphones i use at work and suprisingly they ended up being part of my every day carry if i didnt have these on my neck when i left the house i didnt feel right they lasted over a year before i broke them and it was no fault to the headphones it was just me being an idiot and pushing on the charging cable too hard when inserting it sound is amazing for a pair at this price the battery life is fantastic never died on me at work unless i forgot to charge them the night before and i do tile work so i have to carry 50-60 pound bags of mortar and other things daily imagine that yanking pulling crushing and abusing these things mixed with working out in rain and with constant water i put these things through hell and they came out fighting i loved them and i just wish i could buy them again but i cant anywhere it seems like

These supposedly great value headphones were a disaster. Out of the box, they seem to work great, but three (!!!!) pairs broke within a couple months. I imagine all these great reviews are fake.The sound quality is good for the price (but certainly not great). They are super comfortable. The design is actually pretty good. They also are water resistant. The microphone works briefly but permanently cease functioning after even a light drizzle.BUT, as stated, they STOP WORKING. This wasn’t just that I got the random flawed one. If that were the case, I would be recommending these. I originally got a pair for myself and a pair for my girlfriend (who coincidentally had just ordered herself some PowerBeats 3, so I passed them to my mom). Her pair, which she rarely used, broke in a month. I returned them and got a replacement without a problem. The replacement promptly broke. They didn’t reply to any of my emails identifying the issue and requesting they fix it.My pair broke a couple months later than my mom’s first pair. I contacted the company, and they sent me a totally different headphone type... with wires sticking out.I contacted them, and they didn’t reply to this email either. It’s a Chinese company, so they don’t have a number you can call.Essentially this seems to be a scam company that has managed to garner attention from legitimate reviewers and buyers.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I have to say that these bluetooth headphones are very comfortable and light weight also dust and water resistant with IP67 unfortunately the ear bud cords do not wind into the neck band. sound quality is very impressive and the bass and high tones are quite nice! battery life last 10 hours as indicated and standby time is 300 hours charge time is 1.5 hours to fully charge. I give these five stars because they sound great and are well priced!

Good sound quality and battery life. The Eel does NOT stay on my neck when active, from kayaking to jogging to lawn mowing, it falls backwards and hangs from the ear buds. I solved it with a lanyard, but that defeats the entire design I think.

I was Pool technician. I always get wet at work, working inside the pool, around or rain. I bought them in 2014. This headphones last around 8 hours no stop . I wear them all the time, submerged or standing on the pool. I even wear them in obstacle races like spartan and tough mudder, mud/ water nothing mess with them. Best Buy I made in a long time.

Take that Apple! These are the perfect cordless headphones: fantastic sound quality, amazing battery life (I only charged mine for the first time today and I've had them for weeks) and I wear mine to walk the dog - I frequently have to take them out to talk to well wishes and neighbours, and there they are hanging securely from my necklace which by the way is very comfortable you don't mind wearing it.

This item is exactly what I wanted. It came before expected. I was also impressed with how Mai checked to ensure I had received my product. Product and service is amazing.Thank youMai

Pathetic fit. Highly priced. Battery around 7 hours. Waterproof works. Sounds good.
