Best Miniature Heat Gun on the Market
This is the best electric miniature heat gun I have seen, and it is a great deal for the money. I am very glad I upgraded from the previous mini heat gun I owned (the 300 W generic one with a red tip that goes for around $15 and whose fan always sounded like it was going to sputter out at any minute). Here are some reasons why this mini heat gun is above the rest:-Variable temperature (100 - 480 C) and controllable within 1 degree-Variable fan (10 different settings!)-Comes with 3 air flow nozzles-Digital display-Magnetic stand that puts gun in standby mode when holstered (heat drops and fan goes low)-Heats up very quickly when turning on or coming out of standby mode-Retains previous fan and heat settings after being powered off-Has overheat protection, error codes, and ability to be reset-Over build quality is good-Cable between computer control unit and gun is flexible (not silicone, but fairly similar) and has a retaining thumb nut to ensure connection-Cable between computer control unit and wall socket is very sturdy and all cables are appropriate length-Fan is much quieter than previous mini heat gun I owned and airflow is smoother-Operates on AC 110/220 VIn bought this heat gun for shrink tubing as well as occasionally soldering small components onto circuit boards. I don't see any other electric mini heat guns on the market that can stack up against this one, especially not for the cost. It even comes with a smoke mask and small carrying bag (nothing fancy though), and is well packaged, in general. The manufacturers obviously put thought and pride into their product.Since I have only used it a few times, I will return with an updated review in the near future.

Great soldering machine
Nothing to complain. Works like a pro, heats up very fast. Very portable and excellent price. Would not take half the space on my desk like other soldering machines. The power button toggles between temperature and fan speed. Keep holding the power button to switch it off. Comes with a magnetic stand. The only observation I would make is whether the temperature sensor was accurate. I had the gun running for a couple of minutes at 300 C, switched it off and back on within a few seconds, the reading showed 330 C. It only took another couple of seconds to to come back to 300 C. Not sure if this happens to other brands of machines as well.

No lo uses mucho porque se quema al toque
Salió malísimo el producto a la primera de cambio se cago la resistencia no duró nada.Una pena

The tips are fiddly some of them get comfortably snug on there
It works well for my needs, no adjustable air flow but I'm not hearing power supply whine when I leaved it plugged in. It clearly shows it doesn't have airflow control but it really should, I chose this one over one with airflow control because it powers up faster though. The tips are fiddly some of them get comfortably snug on there.

I wish I had purchased one sooner!
This is a fantastic device! The controllable temperature and fan speed are great for the price point. I only use it occasionally, so I don't need a fancy rework station. My favorite feature is the auto-off. When you set it in the cradle, it seems like it's going to keep going because if you have the fan turned down it speeds up, but it is actually cooling the element, then it powers down until you pick it up off the cradle again. Seems like it uses a reed switch, so you have to set it in there just right, but it's great to be able to set it down to adjust the work and pick it up and go!

Failed after a couple of uses
This heat gun worked great, but only a handful of times. It appears that the fan has stopped working, which causes over-heating. Too bad, as I was totally satisfied until it prematurely failed!

Good performing and compact, but the selection of nozzles is limited and they get stuck
The positives: Cheap, Takes up very little space, heats up quickly and definitely delivers enough heat to desolder components (the other reviewer who things it doesn't must have not been using flux, got a defective unit, or the board is just super heavy).Downs:- I cannot find any nozzles other than the three sizes of round nozzle it comes with. It is also not compatible with nozzles from other hot air guns (they're too big).- The stand for the handpiece activates cool down, but you have to put it in there just right for that to happen. If you turn it off with the controls it just shuts off immediately, no cooldown.- I ended up breaking it because I just could *not* get a nozzle off and when I applied force it broke the barrel loose from the plastics but the nozzle was still stuck on. This is in my opinion its most fatal flaw.

Capable and easy to use hot air blower
I've been using this hot air blower regularly for a couple of months now, and am very impressed with how convenient and capable it is. Principally I use the blower for setting heat shrink tubing and loosening hot glue or adhesives. I've been building a cardboard/hot-glue-gun based arduino project, and this has saved me a TON of time. The magnetic stand is incredibly convenient for keeping the blower at the ready. More often than not I use the middle-sized adapter to focus the heat. The entire setup is very portable as the adapter doubles as a temperature control interface. When I needed a replacement part, the vendor was very responsive and sent out a replacement right away. One observation I have is that the blower has a cycle for expressing heat. It's constantly evaluating what the set output temperature is.
