Original MoonPie 36-Count Mini MoonPie Tub (Chocolate/Vanilla)

This batch came in and was nothing like my previous order. It came in a flimsy plastic canister with the pies smashed tightly together. Not the original much sturdier canister. The pies tasted a bit stale because they were mostly in crumbles on the edges. Like previous reviews, there wasn't any expiration date on the container. If it came straight from the factory, there would be an expiration date. It's hard to enjoy these pies when they're broken apart.

In short, the MoonPie company eclipsed my expectations by redelivering (at no charge and by FexX) my order despite a shipping error that was probably my fault. We all know how good MoonPies are, and they were to be the staple of my Eclipse Party. I never expected such excellent customer service-from replying to my emails in a timely manner to personally making sure I had my MoonPies. This company and its staff are exemplary of what customer service means.

Not like the pic

These taste nothing like the ones we had as children. No graham cracker cookie, that the original had. Don't see how they can say they are the original when they are not. Very chemical tasting.

The pies came smooshed in a purchased clear plastic container with no labels or anything. Nothing like the "original" container that the photo showed! I was going to use the original container at a wedding reception that has a moon and Art Deco theme and now I can't. Very disappointed.

The product was stale and crumbly

These were a gift and then I bought one for myself. The moon pies are smaller versions and just as good. Excellent flavour even though they are junk food.

Other reviewers are correct in saying that the packaging it arrives in is not what is pictured, I was definitely disappointed. Pies were shoved into a plastic jar with a flimsy labeled inside rather than what's pictured.
