So far this replacement remote has worked. The power button on my original remote stopped working. I just use this remote to turn on and off the tv. I had purchased a different remote for the same purpose and that one stopped working after a few weeks. It’s been a few months and this one is still working. I don’t use any of the other features though.

This remote works better than the original that came with the TV. We mostly use our cable remote, so we were really surprised when the Sharp remote went out. To add insult to injury, Sharp wanted $40 for their remote. I tried this one and we are completely happy with it.

Price great but remote is very picky, you have to point it exactly at the tv sensor.

The remote turns the TV on and off, I can change the input, but when I try to adjust volume, it will only change up or down for about 4 clicks in either direction and then it stops working for a while (5 minutes or so). So odd and really useless. I plan to return the unit. I'd rather spend more money to get a remote that actually works.

It was the exact replace for my old remote.
