MEGALOWMART Professional 14 Piece Stainless Steel Kitchen Knife Set with Wood Knife Block Stand

My old knife set was ancient - about 17 yrs old - and needed replacing. I had been asking for a new set for several years during the holidays but no one gifted a set to me so I went ahead and purchased these. I figured if I did finally get a quality set this year then I wouldn't be out much money with this set.I was really surprised at the quality of this set for the price. They're very sturdy and not much bend to them. Very sharp as well.I prefer the block to be on more of an angle as this one sits almost straight upright, however I have adapted to the angle.If you're looking for value priced, decent quality knife set you can't go wrong with this set.

Megalowmart 'Professional' 14 piece with wood block and sharpener.I guess you get what you pay for. Came with a missing foot, and I would hardly call this set "Professional" except for maybe how the knives look? Even then, these lack weight, balance, definition, and sharpness to a professional set.No problems with rust so far, but I always clean and dry my more expensive knives right after use.The main plus is the price. They definitely are worth it. Even better than a $60 set I purchased a few years ago.

Returned them as they were intended as a gift, but the box was so damaged, I couldn't keep them. Can't say how the knives performed in he kitchen.

The product was turned rust after two months. That is why, I don't think that it is not well describe from the seller.

The knives are great! I don't like how loose 2 of them are in the block but at this price you can't beat it! I know this is probably not recommended but I decided to make an in the wall shelf and used one of these knives to cut said hole! It amazed me at how well it done and how quickly it sliced through the sheetrock! They definitely got my respect and I will remain a loyal customer with them forever!

We haven't had sharp knives for years, so any sharpness is great! we don't have a dishwasher, so I have only handwashed and then dried them right away. A few started rusting after I didn't dry them right away so that's the four star reasoning, I can tell the sharpness will be going down though, a few of the ones we use often have lost a bit of edge.

I bought this set on a whim. I really needed a new butcher block, and this set was much cheaper than other prices I saw for the butcher block only. Imagine my surprise when not only is the block very well made, but the knives are great, too! They are much sharper than my old knives. I'm really impressed.
