Glycolic Acid Facial Tonic is great to freshen your skin after cleansing. If you have red patches on your face this Tonic softens them down. I love using this product as it suits my aged skin so well. Highly recommended.

Amazing toner I put this on every other night. My skin is looking much smoother and brighter. I will definitely be buying again.

The toner has been great for hydration and exfoliation on my skin. I find that it also does a great job of managing period spots that I get monthly. You only need a small amount for your face and I recommend using a pads to wipe it around instead of your fingers. As the active ingredients in this are quite strong I would avoid on sensitive skin or skin with a broken barrier. I do not put this around my eyes at all.

I don't understand how anyone could leave this on their skin overnight - it would be too harsh! I use this every night after oil cleansing to get rid of any excess oil/dirt then rinse with water - essentially this is my second cleanser. I like the product - I had some stubborn spots and clogged pores on my cheeks before I started using this.

I’ve used other acid toners before, bit this one is far too strong fro my skin.

Rarely have I found skin products that live up to the hype. This one does. I have oily skin with open pores, very prone to blackheads and spots despite being the wrong end of middle aged. This has made a big difference. I use every night after washing my face, and my skin is brighter, cleaner, blackheads are few and far between now. It's a must have product. Wish this had been around when I was younger.

It did burn at first and my skin was still left oily and bumpy. It smelled a bit strange not good or bad.

This product is absolutely painful, I can't bear to use it as it burns so badly using it. I have very sensitive skin and eczema, so I would not recommend this to anyone with skin like mine. The few times I have forced myself to use it I have also seen no results.

This is a gentle but effective toner that works well with my dry, sensitive skin. I thought the concentration of glycolic acid might be a bit too high, but my skin tolerates this well. I use it on my entire face and neck twice a week, but I do apply it to the T-Zone well, really just the I-Zone (nose & chin) more frequently to help clear my enlarged pores. I might work up to using it more frequently but for right now, twice a week is really all I need to help make my skin feel smooth. I've been using a cleanser and a serum from this brand that both contain AHAs on a limited basis, and I'm very happy with how well they work to exfoliate my skin without stripping my skin or causing irritation. So I was happy to have a chance to try this toner, as well. I followed the recommendation to do a spot test first -- it is something I do on all of my skin care products before using them for the first time. I also waited a few days after applying it for the first time before trying it again. I apply fairly lightly; it feels cool and refreshing and does deliver a slight sting, but doesn't cause any redness or other negative effects. My face feels really clean after using this, but it is not overly drying. The toner is housed in a dark amber glass pour-style bottle so it is easy to use with a cotton ball. The current price of $20.99 seems quite reasonable for more than six ounces of the product. It arrived properly sealed.

This is a good toner. I use it 2-3 times a week before I go to bed – only on my oily t-zone. It tingles a little when it is applied but it disappears quickly & does not irritate my sometimes sensitive skin. I regularly use a face cleanser with glycolic acid & salicylic acid so my skin handles this well. There is no added perfume - that is great.Yes, there is a warning about going in the sun/wearing sunscreen if you are using this – that is also the case with cleansers containing BHA’s (salicylic acid) & AHA’s (glycolic acid & lactic acid). Because they are helping your skin exfoliate, they can make your skin more sensitive to sun so you should use a sunscreen – something you should be doing anyway. I prefer to use a toner that is left on the skin at night.I have never found my skin sunburns more readily when using cleansers, etc. with these ingredients. Some people do have more sensitive skin & you should take caution until you know how your skin will react. You should be using sunscreen on your face every day even if you are not using these ingredients.

Excellent exfoliator, but I hate the bottle. Twist cap off, huge opening. Not convenient whatsoever, and no matter how careful I am, some gets wasted each time.It's great when used twice a week at night before my Stratia Liquid Gold (purchased from Stratia's site, not Amazon). A little strong if you're not used to acids.
