...Older gentleman now. Taking a little more care not to add to existing aches and scars. Bought two of these to attach to my mook jong, one at head/face level for palm strikes, straight punches, hammer fists, and axe hands, and one for knees. I train on the wooden man with Simonet's Slam Set. An explosive 60 second or so "hard" training exercise. So far holding up well. For 8 bucks a piece seems a pretty good buy.

My son loves this and it takes the place of having to buy him a punching bag. We mounted it with the center over a stud to avoid any wall damage. Does not come with any hardware for mounting.

For what it is, the price is unbeatable. I would say, like others have said, it is more for practicing punching form. Not for going all crazy on. There is a certain sweet spot where when you hit it and it does not shift in any direction (and I've got mine bolted down and stretched taut with 4 extra metal eyelets), and that's pretty cool because you know you've hit it right.I personally don't think this would be good for using Muay Thai elbow strikes, or any other strikes that do not hit center. Of course you could probably set this thing up to take any strike center but for me, having set up about eye level, where I would jab or do boxing crosses, I get the most benefit.It's been really really helpful in correcting my very bad jab form habit, developed over thousands of strikes. With this pad you can go slow or fast and controlled and really work on form. And actually going to the heavy bag, I've noticed my jab has definitely improved, stronger, wrist less likely to bend.I'll probably order one or 2 more!

Not really good for punching. Too bouncy. You get what you pay for. Buyer beware!

Great price, little hard for some

5 kids and adults punching on these things, have not split the seams yet. I like the versatility of install, we have some that we punch and others we kick, and they have really held up. You can really lay into them, without damaging your hand, or the pad.

Its not big and it's filled with hard foam.

They are a bit smaller than I tough, but the materials look good and durable. This is great for having some stress relief after work or in the morning, I completely recommend this product.
