I've been looking for a puck light that's truly bright - one I can do some close work under. This one ain't it. On the other hand, it's inexpensive, gives a nice warm fill light and seems nicely designed. The dual mounting options (permanent stick 'em or screws) is a nice feature, as is the ease of battery replacement. Just realize it's about the brightness of a 25-watt incandescent bulb.

They have grey on their sides. I thought they would be all black and blend with my shelves.Also, they are terribly dim. Do not really help light the shelves. They are not what I expected. Neither do they light the shelves, nor do they add any ambient light. They just look bad.

I bought these for spot lighting underneath kitchen cabinets. Very nice light dispersion compared to other products and just about the right intensity. Light color considerably cooler than other puck lights, but balanced, not unpleasant.

These are awesome as emergency lights. Last for more than 24 hours on a set of batteries, highly portable. GREAT idea!

Not really a warm white light at all. I ordered for under a cabinet and it casts a sickly yellow looking light. I am returning it...

The Madking LED Puck Light is a convenient and inexpensive way to add lighting to an area without the use of electricity. The light which is about the size of a hockey puck (hence the name) is powered by 3 AAA batteries (although the instructions that came with my mistakenly stated AA batteries. Just twist of the back of the light and insert the batteries and you are ready to go. The LED lights like all are extrememly energy efficient and so you might only need to change the batteries once a year of course that depends on your usage.These lights are perfect for somewhere like a bathroom, the kitchen, or perhaps a closet. The first two because maybe you dont want to turn the main lights on so this makes a good alternative if you get up in the middle of the night. Closets since they usually don't come with lights unless they are walk-in so it makes an easy way to light up. It comes with 5 LED lights total...one in the center and four around the outer edge. There is no light switch per se...just push down into the center of the light to click push the lights on. Thus this is an easy item to find in the dark without fumbling for a light switch.The lights might not be as bright as other LEDs but then again these are not really meant to light up an entire room. They are economical and easy to use. Sample provided for my honest review.
