I love long kayaking journeys, so I've tried many cushions. When I opened the box, I was very happy to find the description is very close to the actual product. It is thin but plenty thick enough to provide a cushion under my butt. I use it on a sit-on-top kayak that has no seat padding. The non-slip silicone makes it stay in place. It is comfortable enough to let you enjoy a longer journey on the water with this kayak cushion. I've tested it! So I'd like to recommend it to anyone who gets a sore butt from their boat's seat. Buy it with no regrets!

Ads a bit more comfort to my kayak. If you get it wet it acts like a sponge though.

This cushion is much thinner than I expected but it may be ok to provide a little bit extra cushion in the kayak. The bumps on top seem uncomfortable to sit on (they are hard) when I tried it in a regular chair. I can’t attest to the fit in the kayak as it hasn’t arrived yet.

Returned this product. It’s very thin. About the thickness of a bath towel.

Works great

Just got done with a day of paddling and this cushion was a butt saver!! I have sciatica and sitting in the kayak for a day usually results in much pain during and after. Not today. What a bargain! I highly recommend if your cheeks get sore!!
