I liked the fact that it was easy to understand and read. I am new to the practice of Wicca and this helped me understand the moon phases.

I enjoyed this simple and direct guide to working with lunar energy. It gives different possibilities for the ways the lunar cycle can be tapped into for guidance and manifestation. The phases of the moon are explained beautifully, and for the first time I finally understand how to use the waxing and waning energy. I've read other books about this but had to experience energy for myself. Now I fully understand it, and I can easily adjust and go with the lunar flow.

This book has some hidden nuggets mixed in with beginners go to reference info. Great little read!

I absolutely love Lisa Chamberlain's guides for newbies! She's never condescending in her books. I love that she stresses follow your own instincts and do what feels right to you. This one in particular is a good beginner's guide to understanding Moon Magic. It gave me a good guideline so I know where to start. The moon has always called to me so it's time I use that energy. I love the information on the phases too as I have trouble remembering which side is in shadow when. I also appreciate the book recommendations at the end of each guide.

Absolutely fantastic book.I read it all within hours of receiving it through my door. I just couldn’t put it down for long I had to read it until the end.I am totally intrigued now to learn more as this book has made me realize I am more in tune with my psychic abilities than i first thought.This book gave me the clarification and I have always been fascinated by the moon and now I am even more fascinated.

What I expected

I love this author but I hate this book.The author opted for giving explanations according to a method of offsetting core moon phases and Sabbat alignments. Meaning, instead of Yule and New Moon aligning for example, rather Imbolc and New Moon were aligned and so on. Of course any practioner can adjust to their own needs and likings, but all explanations felt very off and misaligned, a bit strained in fact, as she tried to justify the connections. Although her alignment choice was Earth-based, 1) if working with the Sabbats, it makes sense to stay Sun-based and 2) actual nature (despite the claim of Earth-based) doesn't reflect moon phase-related growth periods she purposefully aligned; she claimed her choicr aligned with far-North cycles, the region holding origins of Wicca, but I live far-North and this cycle pattern simply just was not true. Other than that, it was a wonderful source of information, if one twisted their mind to the "correct" alignment.The rating I gave was for the bias; her other books were very neutral, speaking to any audience. This book was more subjective than objective.

Das eBook “Wicca Moon Magic“ von Lisa Chamberlain war zwar ganz nett, hat aber strukturelle Fehler: Immer wieder werden komplette Textseiten leer dargestellt - es fehlt Text. Ich schätze, dass etwa acht bis zehn Seiten nicht dargestellt werden. Deshalb habe ich nur drei Sterne vergeben. Was ein “Blue Moon“ ist, wusste ich vor dem Lesen dieses Buches nicht.
