Pyrex 7200-PC Round 2 Cup Orange Storage Lid for Glass Bowls - Original Genuine Pyrex Lids - 4 Pack - Made In The USA

I originally purchased 12 of these lids to replace my 3+ year old lids that originally came with my pyrex bowls. These lids see constant use as I use my pyrex for meal prep etc. For over 3 years the original lids survived countless dishwasher cycles, microwave sessions and countless peeling on and off of the bowls. Of the 12 bowls I ordered back in March of 2016....I have only 3 lids left....for the record, today is only September 7, 2016. In the pictures you can see what happened to every lid. A small tear starts on the lip of the lid and quickly expands across the entire lid shortly afterwards. Most of the tears started on the seams where the lids two halves appear to have been connected. They did not all tear this way. In the image posted with this review, it did not tear on the seam. In the second image, the location of my fingers is where the seam is. I am FORCED to purchase more of these HORRIBLE lids because I do not want to toss all my pyrex simply because they appear to have cheapened their lids to the point of them being garbage. PYREX - someone needs to figure out the problem here because the originals lasted 100x longer than these cheaply made replacement lids!!!!! Buyer BEWARE!!

I used to love Pyrex products. But now, their covers are made of cheap plastic materials that they tear easily. I have spent many dollars buying cheap plastic cover replacements and I finally have had enough. I’ll never buy Pyrex products anymore. Glassware is good,plastic covers are horrible and expensive... they try to nickel and dime us buy using cheap materials so we buy more to replace... such a gimmick and this will not last long.... buyers and customers are not stupid to fall for this gimmick over and over again

I was frustrated that I needed to replace the original lids so soon after purchasing the Pyrex storage bowls. The replacements work well, but also break easily. I don't put them in the dishwasher anymore, because they don't seem to be able to stand the heat. And they are nearly as expensive as the original bowls + lids.

I love my pyrex glass storage containers but the lids seem to give out over time so I needed some replacement. These pyrex lids were a perfect replacement. A bit more expensive than I would like, because you can often get a full pyrex set cheaper I do feel like I am being better for the environment. If you're not sure of the size, these are 1 up from the tiniest pyrex round glass containers but seriously, check your old lids first and you will find the size number on there.

I ordered some glass Pyrex bowls with these same lids from Amazon back in the spring. Some of the lids have already torn at the edges. Hmmmm. Not impressed. Rather than throw them out; however, I decided to purchase replacements. These have a good seal. We'll see how long they last. At least I now have back-ups.

I bought the Pyrex storage bowls with lids to reduce contact of my food with plastic and reduce my consumption of plastic products. Well, I got it some of it right. Even being very careful with these lids, they split along the edge. I have to keep replacing them. When it comes to consumption of plastics, it's better than using plastic wrap, but still ... Do yourself a favor and just buy BPA-free plastic storage containers. Just don't reheat in them. They'll last, and you won't have to constantly replace the lids.

We needed to replace our orange 2 cup covers and these are them. We bought the glassware a long time ago and the only covers that have ripped over the years have been the orange ones. Now we have new ones so hopefully the glass containers last another 15 years.

I love Pyrex glass containers but not the plastic covers. I invariably ruin the lids after several months; these bright orange lids are just a needed replacement

we have a lot of glass storage containers, and needed to replace the lids. We have an older pyrex brand container w/lid, and it's stood up to years of use. So I thought I'd get these to replace the 'cheap' lids that came with the bowls. (Anchor glass bowls/storage containers). Well, these lids will crack/split just as easy as the cheap lids that came in the set box. be careful when they are cold (out of the fridge). Don't use in the Microwave, and I won't bother trying the dishwasher at all. I'd post a pic, but I've throw out those wrecked lids.

lids work well. be careful when ordering, I was looking for 4 cup lids and selected these as they were 4 lids of 2 cup. That will teach me to read.

They are very sturdy. More substantial than the original lids that came with the product when purchased.Loved the many colours offered. (Only red and blue on the original storage bowls.) I love the orange!

The anchor ones are available at one third price on Canadian Tire. I saw the anchor ones on Canadian tire only after my purchase and these are not eligible under the return policy.

These are the actual Pyrex lids not knock -offs. Fit and work perfectly!
