Cadence Acoustics AMPKIT4 17' Oxygen Free Copper OFC RCA Power Amplifier Kit Wires

I ordered this kit to upgrade my 8 gauge wire. Was looking for power kti only but this kit was cheaper, got good reviews, and has extra speaker wire/RCA cables so I figured why not (cant have enough extra cables). First impression is very good quality. the wire is pretty flexible to maneuver around between battery and amlifier and ground cable appears long enough. Was concerned by other reviewers that power/ground wire is not copper but my impression is that it is. Wire is silver when I stripped shielding for ring terminals but when heating up for soldering, the wire appears to be copper. I am not a professional but my personal opinion is that it is in fact copper. Fuse box is very good, thick plastic cover and rubber gaskets on both input and output sides to protect from moisture. I dont plan on using the remote wire as I already have that ran. RCA's appear good quality and would work if I needed them.Biggest complaint I have is that, in my opinion, when you order a 4 gauge or bigger wire kit that supposedly handle 1500 watts or more, they should include bigger speaker wire. Kit only came with 16 gauge...I dont use less than 12 on any speaker I have ever wired (auto or home audio). Not a huge complaint but still an issue: the power wire is jacketed with nylong mesh way beyond the 18" from the terminal end. This will require you to cut the wire and the nylon jacket to install the fuse block within the required 18" from the battery.Make your own opinion about this product, I think it will perform well and have no complaints. Amazon had an amazing price and obviously Prime shipping got it to me rapidly.

This kit is a great value! For the price I wasn't sure what to expect, but I'm glad I took a chance. My other car has a Rockford Fosgate 4g wiring kit that I paid almost 3 times what I paid for this. I've had this kit installed for a few months now, and I must say, I'm nothing short of highly impressed. I'll never go back to paying for the "other" brand names again. The wiring in this kit is a true 4g, not 8 gauge in 4 gauge sheating like so many of the other value-priced kits. Even the speaker wiring is great, despite it's meager looks. I used the speaker wire to hook up one of my sets of components, and left the factory wiring hooked up to the other, just to see if it made that much of a difference, and it really did. I'm a convert to Cadence Acoustics, and I can't wait to give their other products a try.

i have done many sub woofer installs and these are high quality wires. for this price locally you can go to walmart and buy the over priced wires that are not flexible and are not a true 4 gauge because they just put super thick insulation on smaller wire, or you can buy this kit were everything is higher quality the wires are very flexible it has a really nice grommet and everything in the kit is nice, they are a true 4 gauge and unlike walmart wires they do not heat up when running high amperage. the only bad thing is that it is not copper but i havent really noticed a difference between the copper and these.

This is a good kit, first off, since the description does not list it, this is not a 100% OFC kit, The power lines appear to be CCA (copper clad aluminum). This can be a bad thing. If you're looking to run power near the peak of a 4 gauge wire. I would recommend a OFC wiring kit. These are more expensive, but for my install. Extreme amp flow and power wasn't needed. On the plus side, this wire is a true 4 gauge unlike a lot of kits on Amazon, and is incredibly high strand count and is quite flexible. The speaker wire is excellent and again is CCA. If you're looking for a power kit so you can annoy everyone on your street with your subwoofer, look elsewhere. If you're interested in improving your stock stereo for the people inside the car. This works very well for the average person and comes with everything you could possibly need. The fuse holder is quite nice as well.

they say 100% copper, but the only thing copper is the rca wires. =[ fooey. the power wire is a good 4 gauge but its aluminum. and pretty rigid as well. its not the quality i expected from this company. i read reviews from someone else on this model, and they must of picked the wrong product and not this 1. because its not copper. errand its all china made,

Bought this for a cheap budget system I was putting together for my commuter car. It's CCA.....not copper, but nonetheless I've been very happy with the kit. I would recommend this to someone needing a budget wiring kit, but might advise someone building a powerhouse system to go with real copper.

This is not simply the best priced kit you can get but also the best kit period. I've used many different amp kits and this gives me the best sound and price of them all. There is no distortion with my Kicker equipment at all.
