iPhone 7 Battery Case, QCell 4000mAh Dual Layer Slim Extended Battery Charging Case for Apple iPhone 7 2016 Release(4.7 inch) - Black

I have changed my review of this porduct. The manufacture encouraged me to give them a good review and if I ever had any problems let them know and they would do all they could to make it right. Well after two months, my plastic frame broke, a piece broke out of it, I did not drop it I just took it our of my belt case and it was broken.) I contacted the manufacturer and he said i was so sorry and would send a replacement frame right away. Four weeks went by and no frame. I bought a different charger (which I like much better, does not require a special charging cord) I contacted them again and they said they were sorry again and would send me one that would arrive within three days. The day after I bought a different one and emailed them the frame came it. I let them know that basic business is not to over promise and under deliver. They never did send an additional frame. Original review "I have had four extended batteries from my iPhone 5 to the 7 I bought this for. So far I like it the best of the bunch. Up until now my Mophie was my favorite but not anymore. Great product!!" They could have kept their five star I had originally given them if they would have had a sense of urgency and did what they said they would do. Looking an other reviews I see many have had the frame break so it is a design flaw and I would expect they would have fixed it and would have been prepared to resolve any issues but have had no sense of urgency to do so. I would not buy from them again, there are so many other choices many use as good and cheaper.

The battery charge for this case works as advertised, but is rather slow to fully recharge when drained. Moreover, the bottom plug is a mini USB 3.0 port, which, even when used with the proper adapter, is not configured for headphone use, which can be quite irritating, since you will have to remove your phone from its case every time you want to listen to music on your headphones. Additionally, the case itself is flimsy, and cracked and split when I dropped it only once from a height of about 2 feet. It did, however, protect my phone from any scratches or damage. Overall, it's not a terrible case, and it will protect your phone somewhat and provide quite a bit of additional charge, but there are better options out there for sure. Personally, I think the Apple branded battery case is substantially better, even if it is about twice as expensive.

I had a lot of doubts buying this phone case because I am an adamant Mophie Case user. I didn't know this brand or this company and I took a chance because at the time, there were no other Iphone7 chargeable cases out there for a price that won't make me cry myself to sleep. This case is affordable and it is super awesome. The case helps my phone get through 3 days of constant usage without charging. The ONLY downfall is when I drop it, the case completely falls apart. Lucky for me, it did not break but still its not really protecting my phone but you know...you can't have it 100 all the way around. I would definitely buy this again if it breaks on me.

As far as function goes, the extra battery part works well. I like that it doesn't have anything you have to un-do to plug it in. Cons: the lights on the back stay lit when plugged in. Just means you have to make sure it is screen side up at night when charging, or it doubles as a night light, which ever way you want to look at it. Only thing I am very disappointed by is that it falls apart when dropped. Not that I am dropping it on purpose, but I dropped it on a padded kitchen chair, and the phone popped out of the case! The front case pops off and the phone falls out. I have had other phone cases that could hold up to at least a mild drop. This one won't cut it.

Update: I decided to give it some time. I'm still using it, and for the price it is worth it, if you can live with the couple of issues below.The power button has to be turned on the start the power process... it's not automatic, nor is there a Mophie-like slider. And even then, it doesn't seem to stay on for the duration after enabling it. I don't reallyunderstand the pattern yet.Fit and finish are not bad. Although the lights on the back are on all the time (when it doesn't turn off sporadically), they are almost as bright as a flashlight. Unsure of that engineering choice.

No instructions packed with unit! Generic package was damaged in shipping. Not very good fit and finish either! I will try it but I think it will be going back to amazon! 👎👎👎******UPDATE****** After talking to Qcell they were very nice and they offered to send me a new case no charge! The new case was GREAT! Thank Qcell for standing behind your product! I have recommended your case to several of my friends who have purchased them for there iPhone 7's and they love them as well! Will NOT hesitate to deal with this company in the future! Kudo's Qcell for standing behind your products!

This is the worst phone case I have ever owned!!! I bought it despite reading all the bad reviews on it being cheap and breaking easy, well DO NOT! I repeat DO NOT get this case!!!! the front piece that snaps on the phone is the cheapest piece of plastic and I have gone thru 5 of these cases due to it breaking all in the EXACT same place! When I emailed them trying to just get a refund, they tried to trick me into giving me $.40 instead of $40.00 for the case!!! do yourself a favor and get something of better quality!

The outer ring is brittle plastic. It broke very quickly. For a while is snagged on everything where it cracked. I had electric tape wrapped around where it was broken. Once it cracked, the phone will not stay in it and it is unusable. I contacted the seller, no response. This is common among their reviews. Now the outer ring has so many taped spots, I guess it will go in the trash and I will have to buy a different brand. Also, the way they "route" sound to the mic for speaker phone is also poor. No one is able to hear me on speaker...
