While I am sure the sprinkler is good quality, and will probably last a long time, it doesn't clearly state that it ONLY WORKS WITH HOSES THAT ARE MADE BY "Careful Gardener". Or you need to purchase extra parts, like a quick disconnect in order to use this sprinkler. My other gripe is that the plastic spike it comes with looks so weak that it would probably break the first time you tried to stick in it any thing other than very soft soil.

Bought this more for my children than for watering my lawn. My daughter took one leap through the sprinkler and was not impressed by the thin stream of water that came through and "pricked" her on the skin. We tried lowering the pressure, but it became such a weak stream that it has since not been used.

This sprinkler works. The problem I have is that a company that cannot furnish a standard hose connector out of the box to meet the expectations of most custormers does not warrant a good score. I will be very careful to watch for this in the future.. The cost of the connector required to make the sprinkler workable ranges in price from 2.98 to 6.00. This should not be the case for a custormer to pay additional.This should be an upfront cost born by the manufacturer..Bad on part of Ireland.One note that is not a big thing is the sprinkler should have more weight on the bottom to hold sprinkler more stable.

I'd definitely recommend this product to someone who wants a basic sprinkler for gardening needs and one for a relatively cheap price. Although the product feels like it's made of plastic from the dollar store, it does the job. No settings, just a basic sprinkler. I don't think it would last long for use with kids running through it because the plastic would probably end up cracking with rough use. I was looking for a basic sprinkler for my backyard grass and one that wouldn't cost a lot, and this has met my criterion.

This sprinkler puts out a lot of water in a short amount of time. If I could only have 1 sprinkler I would choose an oscillating sprinkler over this one because it does not do a good job in the corners and edges. I would say it puts out at least twice if not more water than an oscillating sprinkler however the coverage is also less and circular of course. For the price it isn't a bad deal.

I'm really disappointed that I purchased something for nearly $25 that broke the first time using it. I set it up in the middle of the lawn, turned on the hose, and one of the black plastic pieces broke off. Now it is unusable. Cheaply made out of plastic.

When I opened the box for this item and saw how cheaply made it was I almost returned it, but I have to say this sprinkler is impressive with the amount of my lawn AND garden that it covers. So far, so good.4 stars because of cheap plastic it's made out of and poor packaging.

After two uses, already one of the plastic black sprayers came off under very low pressure. I wouldn't recommend this. Really need a metal one that is much more sturdy.
