Incredibly fun!
This UFO drone is absolutely amazing and SO much fun!! As it states in the directions, this is not a toy. This is most definitely complicated and it takes some time to learn how to use it properly. The instructions are very good and if you take the time to read them thoroughly and then reread them again, you will be very successful with flying this drone.The remote is pretty simple if you study it! The two buttons on the bottom are to bring the drone back to you and to flip it. On the front of it there is a sliding button in the center and that is to turn it on and off. This will also flash and beep to tell you it is synced with the drone. Under that switch is a small display screen that tells you the speed, wifi strength, battery indicator, throttle and trim grids. On the left side is the throttle to control up and down. The arrows under the throttle stick is for the left/right rudder trim. The right is front back and side to side. The arrows to the left of that are the forward and backward flying trim and the arrows underneath are the left and right flying trim. The remote also has a space for your phone. There is a button on the side of the holder to expand the width to fit a larger phone. There is also an attachment to clip on to shade the screen from the sun while flying.On the drone itself there are six blades. They alternate between A and B so make sure before flying to check the diagram and ensure the blades are in the correct places. On the underside is the camera and SD slot and if you slide that out it is the battery compartment. The battery that comes with is rechargeable and the charger is included. There are LED lights that indicate that the drone is communicating properly. The white light indicates that is the front of the drone. The drone also has its own wifi!To connect your phone and record video and take pictures you have to download the app that is stated for your phone in the instructions. You then have to connect your phone to the drones wifi. You can control the drone from your phone also. The pictures I took saved to the SD card that is included and also to my phone gallery. The video however only saved to the SD card. To get the video you simply remove the SD card from the drone and insert it into the USB converter that is also included. I then connected the USB to my computer and opened the drive. All of the files were there and were easily played.The quality of the videos and pictures is fairly good considering it is a constantly moving object. There is no sound to the videos because the drone itself is very loud with the blades moving. We had some paper on the floor and from the wind of the blades they moved the papers all around the wind created was so strong!The drone also comes with a second set of blades. I did end up having to replace one of the A1 blades with an A2 because it would pop off in mid flight causing the drone to crash. Once the blade was replaced, there were no issues!I would recommend this drone to any experienced flyer and one who is patient enough to read the directions until you have fully understood them so you can be sure to enjoy your drone to the fullest!I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
