Umm Kulthum (Arabic Edition): Great Songs of Arabic First Songs Lady

I guess I had high hope before I purchased this book . I was disappointed because the book lacked what I thought was important aspect of any lyric book for the great Umm Kalaoum : At least : have a date for the song , arrange the songs in historical order , include some of the most memorable songs such as Allila Eid , Habibi Yosaed Awkato … , how about having some comments about the songs such as what was the story behind the song , why was written , where was it performed the first time , how was it recieved. … none of this was included.In summary : I appreciate the effort to compiling the lyrics but disappointed that not much efforts or planning or interest was put into itHope the second edition would be better. Perhaps reading some of what has been written in WKaipedia about each song could serve as a resource
