Wen tools and equipment are great value for the price and a great upgrade addition to a wood working shop.

for a off brand cheap press it isnt too bad.. not as good as thd old cheap harbor freight presses for 50 bucks but still good for the price. ive read complaints that there is no adjustment spring for belt tensioning. this is simply because the adjustment is on the motor bracket itself on the outside. dont be put off my incompetant reviews. the motor is cheap yes, watch what u put it thru, the upright tubing is thin, and the chuck presses on... but all in all for 100 bucks u cand do many light to medium duty project if u treat it right.. thicker metal.. slow down guys!!! cutting oil.... low speed bits.. give the motor a break..... if its used properly it functions just fine! dont expect to fit more than 5 or 6 inch stock height. though i think ill find a longer piece of tubing and extend mine higher, its only pressed into the cast bottom... heat n ice n im sure they will pop apart..

Item was missing a part when I unpacked it. I called WEN customer service. They were courteous and professional and the missing part was sent to me without cost or hassle. Outstanding. Drill works good too.

The more I learn how to use this product, the more I appreciate it. The drill press is made of high quality materials with the fence and table very helpful once dialed in to the job. The provided stop blocks allow quick repetitive and accurate cuts for the chairs that I make. It creates confidence that parts will fit precisely together. The power of a drill press this size is impressive for hard and soft wood. Speed adjustments are simple to make. By taking your time it's easy to reduce or eliminate burn marks I've begun using this press to make joinery and appreciate the easy cleanup relative to using a router. The sacrificial plate in the table is easily replaceable and helps reduce tear out. The accuracy is far superior to a hand held drill and lining up repetitive cuts has saved me hours. The cost is also a plus. My recommendation, if you are a hobbyist or have a small woodshed, this press will upgrade your quality and speed up your builds.

Good buy for home owners

The media could not be loaded. Product arrived quickly but the base plate was not manufactured correctly (watch video). So, I have to wait another week for the replacement part to arrive from the manufacturer, putting my project behind schedule before it starts thanks to someone not doing the job for which they were paid. So much for made in America quality.
