my favorite GF cookies
These cookies were my first try with GF cookies, and I thought they were better than any cookies I remembered having (except for WF's homemade oatmeal raisin cookies, but they are not GF). I tried the lemon burst variety first, and they were incredible (light, fluffy, and with an incredible, lemony aroma). When I spotted this ginger molasses variety in the same store, I knew they would be just as awesome. I didn't expect their incredible aroma, though, which just sings "this is what every cookie should smell like." These have tiny pieces of ginger dotted throughout, and have a delicate ginger kick to them (not too spicy, but just right). They are sprinkled with sugar though, which I flick off in the bag, as they really don't need any more help (they are not cloyingly sweet, though--they are sweet enough). I have tried the snickerdoodle and peanut varieties as well and they were good too, but I'm more of a ginger and lemon gal, so these two are my favorites (I have not tried the chocolate chip yet). I wish Amazon offered a variety multipack of these so folks could try them all and know what they like, but if you are looking for a solid recommendation on a good cookie, put these ginger molasses cookies in your cart, and also the lemon burst (if you still have a little wiggle room left).

Pretty awful
I would give these no stars if I could. Was looking for a cookie for the kids and I to have a quick snack without a slew of unreadable ingredients and I came upon these at a local big box store. I'm sorry guys, this was the most disgusting cookie I've ever had in all my years. Just so bad. I can't imagine how anyone could eat these, much less give them 5 stars. Wow.

Not very gingery / too much molasses
I have bought this company's chocolate chip cookies a couple times and was very impressed so i decided to try theseThey have too much molassess taste and not enough ginger taste and the two tastes are not very integratedbasically you taste molasses while you are eating it, and then there is a ginger aftertaste with chunks of ginger in your mouth. No one in my family is too impressed.

I don't need to eat GF and I still like these anyway
I will start off by saying, I don't need to eat gluten free. I regularly consume wheat and gluten. And I still like these cookies, anyway, and will buy them at the supermarket even though they are costlier than some of the alternatives. I do slightly prefer the lemon cookies and snickerdoodles from the same brand, but these ginger molasses ones are nice, as well. The ginger flavor is mild and instead of strictly a molasses flavor, it is more of a sweetness I notice. It's a good combination. It's like a milder ginger snap, but one that's soft. I strongly prefer soft cookies to hard ones, and the difficulty in finding soft packaged cookies is probably why I don't like many packaged cookies. These have a very good texture, though. They are soft and not too crumbly. I found these to be just a tad dry -- not bad, but not quite as moist as some of the other varieties. You can kind of overcome the dryness by having them with some ice cream (I like Halo Top because it's low in calories and sugar and kind of offsets the sugar from the cookies).I'm not going to spend much time on nutrition because these are cookies and are not meant to be healthful. Each cookie is about 65 calories, so try not to eat the whole bag in one sitting. The bag is resealable but don't leave it open for too long (these are usually gone in a couple of days at my house so it's not an issue). These do not require refrigeration. Be sensible about what you order at the same time because although these do pretty well when traveling, they can't survive a trip through the mail with a bunch of canned goods.

Not your average gluten-free cookie
These are delicious! I've had a problem with gluten for some time and hate most of the starchy concoctions out there masquerading as "treats." For the most part, they're dry and boring. I recently stopped at the local co-op and bought some ginger cookies in the shape of bunnies. Frankly, they taste like compressed sand with a little ginger flavoring added. These, however, are pleasantly different; they're moist, chewy and tangy, with little bits of ginger embedded right in the cookie. I think they're a little more molasses cookie than ginger cookie; nonetheless, they're quite addictive. If you offered one to a friend and never told them it was a gluten-free cookie, they'd never know. WOW indeed!

Stale
I originally found these in a store and think in general they are awesome, especially for gluten-free, but giving 3 stars since I received 6 bags in an order and 3 of them were stale.

Wow Ginger Molasses Cookies
These are my favorite cookies! Gluten-free usually means "blah", but you'd never know these cookies are gluten-free. They are soft and moist and gingery, just like the wheat flour ones my grandma used to make. On a recent train trip up the coast I offered them to several people I met who didn't know anything about gluten-free, and they all wanted to know where to buy them. Delicious.

Taste a bit like bag they come in
I bought these locally and while they're pretty good, they have a funny initial taste. I think the plastic bag they come in is imparting a flavor. I've tried to 'air them out' a bit and they seem less off than when I first opened the bag.
