Just what I wanted
I bought this for my Grandson. I have one I have used for years to bake biscuits and cornbread in and this one is just like mine made from heavy cast-iron like my 30 year old one

Not my idea
I love scones, and I love baking scones. I give tea parties and I was looking for something that would make my scones look more perfected. I came across this pan and as I love cast iron from the old days and I mean the old days, I felt like this cast iron was going to rust right off the bat and I would be spending more time curing the pan. So I really can't give this pan a affair review but it was not the heavy cast iron I grew up with and that's why I'm giving it a 3 as I ended up returning it. It wasn't even worth me trying it out. I'm an avid baker and have a lot of cookware and just looking and holding this pan it didn't make the grade .

High Quality
This cast iron pan is up there with Lodge. Did the job perfectly. Just keep seasoning it and it will last for years. I just use hot water to wash it, dry it, and add oil while being heated on top of the stove or in the stove. I do it on top of the stove for 5 minutes and it's good as new every time. Don't leave cast iron in the sink to rust. If this happens scrub it and season it. Never throw away a cast iron pan of any kind.

Easy to clean, upon first use you need to make sure and use enough oil....my cornbread stuck but turned out great the second time!

Cast iron biscuit pan

Not for Me
Overall the pan just didn’t feel right. It apparently comes pre-seasoned but it still felt incredibly rough. I have a bunch of cast iron cookware and this has lots of open cells. The edges were all very rough. Honestly I was unimpressed with the quality. That being said it was the exact shape and size I was looking for. I was going to attempt reseasoning and giving it a try but I knew right away that I wanted to return this and it wasn’t fair to the seller for them to try and resell it.
