Man, these things are great. I was a little skeptical - don't ask me why; just a natural reaction, I guess - but I did order a package of them, and they laid on the couch for a couple of days before I even opened one of them up.Finally, I thought, "Why not?" and did open one. The package seemed confusing to open, at first, but then I figured it out, and it turns out that it could not be simpler to open - even for me!Well, I want to tell you, I was totally impressed, at the simplicity of the thing; a very light, stretchy gauze-like fabric, which fits perfectly around my waist, with Velcro fastener, to just simply press together, and it holds fast, with no worrying about trying to get it adjusted right.And then, the little pads deliver a gentle warmth, and feels very soothing and relaxing - especially in this cold weather, when even being inside, you do feel the cold trying to get at your sensitive lower back.The bottom line is that they are great. Very comforting, and relaxing, and I love it!But the best part is that my lower back has given me fits - incredible amounts of grief - for a long time, and as I sit here writing this, I feel the soothing warmth on my lower back, and can only conclude:THIS IS THE ANSWER!Wish I had known about them sooner.

Should have bought stock in these years ago! Allow chronic back pain sufferer to go about your day. You'd have to be real skinny to wear size small/medium. If seriously obese, size L/XL would be too small. It barely fits me and I am 5'4" and 180. They heat up PLENTY with air but especially with contact with skin. After 3 hours, I need to move off skin to other side of rather heavy cotton undies. Otherwise, they can get so hot that they cause burn . . . which hurts plus you can't wear again until healed. Put on in morning and definitely lasts till bedtime. I've used for decades! DO NOT put on in afternoon or at bedtime and then lie down, or you may fall asleep and get a bad burn. Also, be careful if you're wearing daily and sweating under wrap. Wash well with soap and let skin air out so you don't get a fungal infection. Heed all this, and I give this product a thumbs up!

I use these wraps not only on my back but on my knees and my neck as needed, with adaptations. For back pain they can be worn under clothing during the day, and no one will even notice. Do not sleep with them directly on your skin because if they get doubled up when you move around they will cause a burn. The wrap can be put inside a sleeve or leg from an old cotton flannel pajama to protect the skin at night. Some persons have mentioned that they are not as good as they used to be. It's true, but I can't find anything better. They still do the job.

I have fibro. My lower back is in constant pain from the moment I set feet on the ground. Technically I'm not supposed to start them every day but I did for a long time. I had to because Of The pain. I do NEED them every day I just don't wear them. In those days I'm in a whole hell of a lot of pain.They may be too hot for some people but not for me. I always want to lie down or put a pillow against my back to make sure the heat is right up against me to take full advantage of it.

I have used these for years and they really work for me. I am glad to have found them on Amazon.

I actually bought these to wear over my base layer on a ski trip and they did not disappoint! In fact, they would get so warm that it was too much under all my gear, but I loved having them with me that way if it got colder or we were taking a break and had to sit outside bc of Covid, I could easily wrap it around my back and warm up!!

These are truly a wonderful invention. If you suffer from aches and pains when you have to sit too long (meetings, airplane rides, driving), these soothing warm wraps are the ticket. They're large enough for a size 12 - 18 woman, wrapping around the hip area and sticking together with a velcro-like effect. They last 8 hours and are activated simply by opening them up and exposing them to oxygen. I wear them against my skin and haven't had any trouble with burns, although they warn about that on the package. Buy them by the 3 pack if you can, it's cheaper.

These are great for lower back pain! I am an ER nurse and highly recommend! They loosen muscles and last for over 16 hours! They are also great for keeping you warm in very cold weather! I have used them for many years. When I used to ski, I would put one on for warmth and too keep me loose in very cold weather! They wrap around your waist and secure with Velcro so don’t worry about the large size if you have a smaller waist.
