A Good Read for Families
This is a Christian based series of books for children who are between the ages of nine and twelve years old, maybe thirteen. There are interesting story lines in the series that deal with the death of a parent or loss of a parent; the feelings of pre-teen children who are caught in trying to understand their own feelings about loss and the world around them. Their mother remarried; and has introduced them to God/church, so there are mixed emotions about this:right and wrong, telling the truth to a parent and vice versa. There is quite a bit of dialogue between brother and sister, who support each other, and share what to do in solving the current mystery. There is a means for how a step-parent may interact with his step-children. Their mother and step-father (who also has a teenage daughter) have their own secrets to deal with and how much they think they should tell the twins and younger brother about their deceased father; how do they become a real family. The twins are quick to pick-up on clues about adults and classmates. There are also situations about bullying; parent rules to follow; and mysteries to solve around what happens at school. I think the series is a good read for children who enjoy mysteries and the authors actually have "serious thinking" children, which in wonderful, it's real. I highly recommend these books for boys.

Perfect (just like the others)
I have always had a thing for mysteries. I was so happy to have found these books last year, because they're really good. You can tell they're very thought out, they're mysteries, they're Christian books, and there's a lot of adventure in them, so they're just perfect! Plus the main characters are twins, and I thought that was cool since me and my sis are twins too :)This is the second time I have read these books, they're that good! I love that they're not weird, like a lot of mysteries are, and everything going on is something that could actually happen (like there's no ghosts or fake stuff like that). And they can kinda get a little scary but not like gross-scary.So overall this is an AMAZING book series and you'll probably love it. I'd recommend to kids around 11-14ish. Or maybe over twelve because they can get a little scary--like omg-there's-someone-outside-the-window-scary. Or like robbers and terrorists scary. But they're really good and I can barely put them down!!

Wow! Really good story!
Yet another awesome story!! Possibly the most suspenseful one yet! I especially like the way the author works in the Bible lessons, perfect for kids, but good reminders for adults too.
