2009 release. Tonex returns after a five year hiatus with his brand new album Unspoken. After a stellar Gospel career, Tonex expands his musical endeavors with an R&B album for the ages. Naturally the lead single, 'BL3ND', is a perfect representation of what Tonex is all about. The timely song addresses the need to stay true to one's self. Known more for his Gospel recordings, his musical efforts have been known to blend a variety of styles, including Pop, R&B, Jazz, Soul, Funk, Hip Hop, Latin, Electro, Punk and Trance, just to name a few.

Confused
Tonex has one of the most innovative minds in music of our generation - there is no denying that, and he definitely brings more of that innovation on this album.Having said that, I do not believe this album is Gospel music. We have been admonished by the Word to try the spirits and that every spirit confessing that Jesus is come in the flesh is of God. Therefore a CD cannot be gospel or of/inspired by God if it does not confess Jesus as Christ and what he accomplished on the earth and in/for us as believers. The first thing I do whenever I get a new album is read through the lyrics, front-to-back, before I put the CD in. If you do that with this album as a believer you will likely be completely confused....

Excellent
Tonex has done it again. Totally enjoyed the variety of musical sounds and genres he uses to convey spiritual messages. Bought more copies for others...

Tonex CD
I like quite a few song's on this cd. I have always supported Tonex but his cover sorta scared my little nephew who liked him also. I'm disappointed in his confession recently and I won't be supporting him unless thing's change.

all this stone throwin....
Okkkk yawl killing me with these reviews! Quite a few of you need to REview your review because when I listen to this thing in my room I feel God come up in there! Yes, he has 2 tracks that are secular but even those 2 do not lead me astray! People want to call Ton3x 'someone misleading the youth' but EVERYtime I play a Ton3x record I'm lead THE way we all should be going. Let's start with track4....GLOR3X! How can you rate an album with a 2 that has such a HG filled song such as Glor3x?! Then there's Unspoken, Again and thank the good Lord for WIRED!!!!!!!! This album is 5stars and you all know it. Bl3nd is GRAMMY NOMiNATED! Ton3x could very well get a grammy for the album some of you dared to rate with 1's 2's and 3's. I love the album, I love Ton3x and I love God. Some of you should try it.Now, tell me why Deitrick is getting heat too? lol wait....first tell me why he even got inside Unspoken reviews? You're being worse than Craig Lewis now. Stop hating, please because it's ugly and stupid. You can talk about people all day, you can even talk about me and I seriously will not care but it hurts me down to my soul to call GOODmusic bad and rate 5 star artist with a -shutters- 1! Please, do not disrespect music in such a way. Thank you. ThatIsAll.
