If your looking for an easy to carry option that has a little bit of most lures this is it. It has both hard and soft baits. Hard baits include top water fish and spoons. Frogs, grubs, crayfish and a squid type lures are here. It also comes with some hardware for different set ups and two mini containers with super tiny hooks of various sizes. Great buy for the money! The hard tackle and spoons alone would cost you more then the price of this whole set at Walmart.

A lot of great pieces different lures they gave me a small large mouth bass swim bait with rattled inside I can’t wait to use this weekend. A couple flaws the hooks with eyes on it the circle where you put the line through is broken on 2 out of the 3 hooks. One of the frog lures has 3 eyes 🤣 i don’t think the fish will notice haha. There’s a lot of soft plastics and reflective metal lures but the swim baits are amazing. The box it came in is small. But is completely filled to the top! Perfect starter kit &gift.

I took photos on a desk with a keyboard for comparison - as I just started fishing I don't have a particularly good idea what half of these are called. This came the next day, and the packaging was super tight; after taking photos I found it almost impossible to put them all back in again.It's got a nice variety, different lures, gummy worms, bright colors - 2 packs of hooks as well. The "accessories" baggie was mostly weights, some hooks, and a variety of replacement pieces for the lures and baits. The green beads are in place due to the rings one uses to secure the gummy lures. The fish are sturdy looking, have some heft and decent hooks; different shapes and varieties. The cricket could have been done better, as for the frogs they're made of the same gummy material as the worms.The roostertails are heavy - there wasn't any weights given for the entire pile of medallions so it's going to be a guessing game for me. They have textures and shine differently in water, and come in various oval shapes and sizes.The fun colors of the worms, grubs, and other similar shaped gummies caught my eye first. Upon opening them, there was an 'oily' substance on them (I don't think its flavoring or pheromones, more like residue from the chemical process of creating these) so keep an eye out on that.Overall, it's a pretty good starter kit, the box should be bigger but it's not a big deal breaker. I had bites with some of the gummy worms and the roostertails and caught a few bass with those so I know they work.

This fishing kit is definitely ok for a kid or a beginner but it's not all that otherwise. The lures are ok but not high quality. Some of them came with the paint already chipping a little. The lures also have tiny cheap rings on them. Although I didn't expect it to be the highest quality due to the price. There's a good variety of plastic lures including a popper, minnow, cricket, rainbow trout, and a few others. It also includes spoon lures and a bunch of soft plastics or rubber baits. There's 2 soft plastic frog lures. The soft rubber and plastic baits though are really small. The biggest upset for me though was the hooks. It comes with 2 extremely small hard plastic containers with dividers and they contain some of the smallest hooks in the world. All of the hooks are around a ¼ inch long give or take and some even smaller than that. There's only 2 bigger hooks in the whole kit. A lot of other reviewers state that their soft plastics or rubber baits came melted together inside the hard plastic container but mine didn't. All of mine came in small individual baggies and they're in good shape. This kit is easy to use other than everything being stuffed into such a small container. Everything barely fits and there isn't really much room for movement. Even though this kit has it's ups and it's downs I think it's a very versatile fishing kit with lots of different bait choices for lots of different fish. I took a star off for the tiny hooks and not having but 2 bigger hooks. I took another star off due to the paint chipping a little bit on several of the lures and the tiny rings. My son loves this kit though and in my opinion it's a ok kit for light to medium fishing. I wouldn't recommend this kit for heavy professional fishing but for the price of less than $20 it's definitely worth a try!!!

Honestly it has an amazing value for what it cost. You could never get this much stuff for that price anywhere else. Vast variety of colors and so much fishing ability.
