Red Kap Men's Long Sleeve Industrial Stripe Work Shirt

Ok, so I am part nerd, I cut the little seam out of the left pocket so I can use a pocket protector. The pockets are big enough to hold one of the bigger 4.5 inch wide size. The shirts are durable, that's why uniform companies use this brand, they come in big sizes and are a reasonably good price I like the striped and checked colors, if you get a stain or something then they go from casual to work (dirty) jobs. They are comfortable and last well. Just what I want from a shirt.

I have bought these shirts for work for some time now and they hold up very well. I usually throw them in with every load of laundry on laundry day to soften them up a bit but once you get them broken In, you just can't buy shirts like these in-store. I've looked for years and if you did, you would be paying arm and leg. I order a bunch of therm every year and now I have a stock pile..I still have my first set i ordered over 5yrs ago and though there a bit stained and ripped here and there, they have never let me down! I highly recommend these.

Sizing consistent with good quality shirts such as Carhartt or Wrangler. Go down one size if you're going from the average T-shirt size. I ordered an XL because another one of the Red Kap short sleeve mechanic shirts I have was more like t-shirt size and too tight. I should have ordered this in large

This is a very nice shirt for the money. Red Kap is a well established brand for a good reason. It's a cotton poly blend. There is enough cotton to prevent it from melting to your skin but it is not fire retardant. This a shirt is nice to almost wear as a dress shirt. For a work shirt it provides a more professional appearance than Dickies or Carhart, although those are very good brands as well. I retired after working 33 years in industrial maintenance for a large global company. However, I'm young enough and bored enough, I'm thinking about going back to work. Probably in the HVAC field. I bought this shirt for a potential job interview. It's nice and crisp looking. I will probably buy a few more of these because they are quite nice and some my older shirts are getting a little worn. The job that will be doing is a little more public than working on boilers and ammonia refrigeration equipment so I have to be a little more polished.

The shirt fits as expected. Great sleeve length (I have long arms) and good overall appearance.
