Q: Anyone run through audio receiver and projector? How does it work?

It has 4 HDMI inputs and 1 HDMI output. I have mine set up so that the signal goes from my source into it and then into my stereo receiver which has HDMI input. I can change to any input I want by the remote and it sends that to the stereo (and my TV which is hooked up to an HDMI output on the stereo). I can also have it show all 4 inputs simultaneously and select the audio I want by the remote. This multiview is a good device and well worth the money. It's more for personal than professional use but it does have the quality (720p or 1080p switchable). I'm sure it would do just fine with the HDMI connection to a projector. Hope this helps.

Q: In two screen mode is there a way so as not stretch the images - I would rather it squeeze the image a bit and maybe have black on top and bottom?

I don't believe there is a way to change the aspect of the images on each mode. If there is I'm not aware of it. I use mine either in the 4-corner mode or the full screen mode primarily as I use it to change between different video sources on my entertainment system. This is not a professional multi-view device but does a good job with things like closed circuit camera systems and switching between video inputs for viewing on a TV. Hope this helps.
