My 2nd video for Hamani!
This Asian beauty is made by a Paradise Galleries Artist. She is precious from her ears, eyes, nose, mouth down to her adorable little feet. Hamani is weighted very much in her bottom so she feels like a real baby. She comes with a large blanket that is satin on one side and soft on the other side. Her teether has real water in it so I wouldn't give that to a small child. This big girl has a delicate body, and because of her heavy weight, can possibly tear at the limbs near the body connection if she is tossed around too much (See 1st video in my 1st review, I couldn't post 2 videos in the same review). Also, her hair is straw like and very hard to comb because it is also applied on a wig to the scalp. I do not prefer this type of hair, as I like to comb and style most of my doll's hair but THIS one is extremely difficult. I tried to gently comb it in between the wig lines but the hair is also glued in there so it was flaking. I was not happy about this. I did end up trimming the back off (at the neckli e) because I didn't like it sticking out and I couldn't tame it well enough. If you do not desire to comb her hair, then alright. So this and the loosely attatched body parts are my only concerns (NOT a deal breaker in my opinion). Otherwise she is precious and I was so happy to find an Asian doll at a reasonable cost. Hamani (I call her Keiko Daiyu) was under $50 and most Paradise Galleries reborn dolls are $80+ This company I believe has the most adorable facial expressions of all I have seen. Great find!
She’s very cuddly and I love her ethnic features! Be sure to wash the hair with Dawn and follow up with a moisturizer of your choice as the hair comes stiff because she’s wrapped up. The only downside is I wish the hair was rooted but other than that it’s a great doll. I purchased while it’s on sale.
