the screw that adjusts the thickness of the cut isn't well designed and the blade with rattle as you slice truffles or bottarga causing the blade to also adjust. causes the slices to become inconsistent and the blade to open to a dangerous width. getting some super glue or tape and setting the thickness permanently was the only option to not have to fiddle with it mid service. probably much better quality items out there.

Good value for the price and well made

All stainless alright! Unable to use the product effectively as it was designed due to poor blade stability and uneven thickness control. Needed to jam it closed to force the blade backwards enough to use it upside down for the thinnest slices. Just garbage. Save your money and get the Alma.

Terrible truffle slicer. It is almost impossible to get the right thickness, you will go through the whole truffle before maybe getting the consistent thickness, and even then it still wobbles. I used it three times before finally giving up and throwing it in the bin. Complete waste of truffles and money.

Started out very sharp but the third time I used it to slice garlic, the blade was very dull.
