The back of the dishes state: gibsonUSA.com ( China ) Dishwasher, microwave and oven safe. It's a similar style to a Potterybarn set I have. These are a lesser quality, lighter and the finish isn't always even, but it's a nice starter set or for use when you need many place settings at a reasonable price. If needed, I would buy these again. :D

Q: Do the dishes get hot in the microwave?

Yes, they do. I have a variety of ways to compensate (bowls are easy to place on the small plates, for example), but after a few minutes in the microwave they will get very hot.

the smaller bowls hold 1 cup leaving 1/2 inch from the rim. The larger bowl holds 2 1/3 cups with 1/2 from the rim.

Excelente producto

Me llego completa y muy bien empaquetada, 30 piezas como dice, si la caja traía algunos golpes y rasguños pero no afectó el producto que ese era mi temor que hubiese alguna pieza quebrada pero no fue así, todo muy bien, estoy feliz con mi vajilla.

Beautiful, Simple, Solid

I bought 2 sets for our vacation rental 2 years ago. They still look just as nice as when I bought them! They are solid and hold up well. I will definitely buy more when I need to resupply my set.

Nice set. Despite great packaging, one plate broken. The set has what I’d call cereal bowls snd snack bowls. I had to buy salad/soup bowls separately from another brand.
