Exactly What I Needed!
I have a Roborock s5 vacuum and it has been giving me the "Error 1: adjust the laser" for months! sometimes the laser would just work and other times my vacuum wouldn't run for weeks because of this error. Every time, I took the cover off and took it apart only to put a battery to the laser motor (this device) and it would make the laser turn. So I am here to tell you that if you have moved the laser and your motor still works but you are still getting this error, buy a new laser motor and install it, it will then work perfectly again.

Motor works. Orange pulley broken on arrival
Motor is a perfect match for the LIDAR sensor motor for Roborock S5. The orange pulley was broken on arrival (had a crack when opening the package), hence docking 1 star. I used the pulley from the original motor. The screws to remove the motor itself was hard and were about to get stripped. Fortunately pressing the motor inwards and rotating the screws helped.

Easy to install and worked perfectly!
We were worried that our Roborock was totally out of commission, and we were livid because it was so expensive, but replacing the old motor with this one brought it back to 100% functionality! Also, it was *super* easy to install this motor.

Fixed error 1
Great motor to fix the LiDAR unit in my Roborock S5. No more error 1! Couldn’t be happier.Pro tip: Be careful when removing the screws mounting the motor. The original screws strip easily. I used screws for an M.2 drive to replace the stripped ones.

My Roborock stopped cleaning and was giving me the error message about the laser being stuck. I jumped the motor using YouTube videos but it only worked for a short time and the same error would occur. So I replaced the motor and so far so good. It's a quick and easy job if you watch the videos and have some basic handyman skills.
