Bought this to replace the draw string in some new combat trousersWhich had elasticated cord that did nothingDoes the job but being nylon the toggle dosnt hold it tightAnd trying to tie it in a knot is a challenge

A very good quality product. I have had to buy this item twice to get the correct length for my sweat pants. But these can also be used as robust and long shoe laces, ties for hoodies. I am using mine for my sweat pants. Be generous with the length so you can get a good tie on it. They have a range of colours too

Excellent quality drawstring, well produced, strong and durable.The only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5, is due to lack of seller guidence regarding length to purchase for customer needs. As a guide, an adequate cord length would be a person's waist measurement plus an additional 60 cm or 24 inches. This would prevent the cord from dissapearing when the waistband is stretched while pulling on or taking of the garment, if the cord is too short. It also allows you to tie a comfortable and tidy looking bow with ease. You'll also find this guide to be a general standard for off-the-peg sportswear.

I needed two 140 cm lengths to replace the rather short ones that I'd received in two pairs of fleece lined winter tracksuit styled bottoms I'd recently ordered. I like to tie a good sized shoelace bow at the waist of my tracksuit bottoms that I can then double knot easily, and these fulfill that purpose perfectly.Eamonn
