Truvativ SRAM BB30/PF30 Right Arm Bolt and Cap M18/ M30

Somehow didn't have the retaining cap nut on my crank arm. Not sure if mine fell off or just never came with the bike. Either way, it's the perfect fit for my SRAM Truative cranks. Without it, you can't really get the crank arms off. I bought the spanner tool too because it's really the only way to tighten the retaining nut. Be advised, the outside retaining cap bolt is reverse threaded. Lefty tighty here folks! The inside 8mm is going to be hard to break loose if you've never done it before, so bring a big wrench and some muscles.

I have a 2019 YT Capra with TruVativ Descendant cranks. I replaced the chainring with an oval but discovered that I had evidently lost the self-extract piece over the last 3,000 miles. This replacement was exactly what I needed to be able to remove my crank. The self-extract piece slides over the screw pice and allows you to screw off the drive side crank. Worked perfectly.I hate that I had to spend $15 but it worked great. After use, I would suggest that you remove the outside disk (self extract piece) and store it somewhere safe so you don't have to rebuy it down the road like I did.

Lost my original cap on a trail somewhere. This replacement fit and works perfectly.

Outer ring rattled out of my bike's XO1 cranks and this is required for removing the crank. Shipped fast and was a perfect fit, glad to see that there is thread-locker on this one so hopefully won't lose it! You'll need a 2.33mm spanner tool to get it tight BTW.

I lost my extractor cap while riding my 2021 Stumpjumper Expert with Descendant 7K cranks. I later needed to remove my cranks for service and without the extractor I could not remove the right crank arm. This kit worked great and it came with the extractor cap, crank bolt and the washer that goes between the cranks and the crank bolt. I tried going to several bike shops with no luck. Save yourself the time and effort of searching around and have this delivered to your home instead. Highly recommended!!!

I wanted to change my chain ring on my mountain bike with a SRAM drive train. While watching a video on how to do this I realized that the smaller outer portion of the two parts was missing and it would be impossible to remove the chain ring without this part. Ordered this kit and I was able to replace the chain ring easy peasy.

If you’ve lost the cap for your DUB cranks this part works. The bolt is a slightly different shape, so I would use the new bolt as well as the cap, but it’s working great for me. I put a little blue loctite on the cap to hopefully prevent it falling off again.

This is probably what you need if you run a newer DUB BB/crankset.Make sure you have either snap ring pliers or a pin spanner (park tool sells the pin spanner).
