iMAX 14inch LCD Screen Separator Machine, LCD Separator, Screen Separating Machine, Built-in Vacuum Machine for 1~14 inch phone or tablet PC

Dies in 1 year. Be prepared after 1 year but bought a new one and to my horror its worse than i can ever imagine. After replacing glass on hundreds of samsung and apple devices with the old unit and now i've destroyed 4 in row with the new unit and i see why. The vacuum on the new unit is horrible and the rails are way too high causing the wire to through the screen!! INSTEAD OF UNDER THE GLASS!! Definitely the worse heat-plate i've ever used. Be careful on this and i've included pictures to show you the horrible change.

We purchased this to remove the screens from tablets. We have several hundred tablets for our users and we often need to replace the screens. We had hoped that this was for removing the LCD screen. It isn't. It is to separate the LCD from the touch digitizer...something we don't need to do. Once we received it, we then looked up videos on how to make it work (since the supplied directions are sparse at best). All the videos showed the process of separating the LCD from the digitizer, none showed removing the LCD screen itself. Why did we think it would do what we want? Many DIY sites mention the need for heating pads for the removal process. Since this was a heating pad as well as a vacuum table, our assumption was it was what we needed. Our fault for not watching the videos first? Probably...and for the trolls who will deride us for not reading/researching enough ahead of time...go troll elsewhere...

Everything is functional but the Gold Foot that holds the bar was broken off. If a new foot gets sent I'll raise the rating. Some loose pieces were floating in the box and scratched it up. New foot was sent.

I have not done a job with it yet but seems to work as advertised. Mine did not come with the separating wire is my only complaint about it so far.
