I bought this to replace an old phone and like it very well. The sound quality is nice and clear. One thing I REALLY like is the phone has a button you can push to end and block the caller. I have used it several times to stop the constant damn spam calls and it seems to be working. I am enjoying more peace and quiet now. 👍🏼👍🏼

All functions work as promised. Very easy to operate, large buttons. I'm happy with my choice.

I purchased the AT&T BL102-4 cordless phone set from the Amazon Warehouse (like-new used in original packaging) when our family switched from a traditional landline setup to a VOIP landline with our local cable provider. We previously had been using a cordless system from another brand with our phone company's service and the call quality was never good - often lots of crackle on the line, making callers hard to hear. I wasn't sure if it was the phones, the service, or the cords, so I replaced all of them and started anew.The build quality of this AT&T phone system was a little less substantial than I expected, but the phones do their job and call quality is good. The handsets and the base feel kind of cheap, but this is an under-one hundred dollar phone system so I guess that's to be expected. It works well though, and the features are good.The only feature I miss is Bluetooth. If this system had it I could pair it with my cell phone, but other than that, it's not missing anything.----------------------------------➡️ SETUP & USE:I put the batteries in the phones and charged them as I went to the included user manual to try and figure out how to set it up. The manual is a bit overwhelming, but if you read it carefully and go step by step, you can figure it out.Some features on the phone duplicate those offered by my cable company, so I did need to figure out which ones to set up and which ones to leave off on the phone. For example, my cable provider offers voicemail, and thus using the answering machine feature of this phone system isn't something that I do.Once I set up things like the number of rings before the calls were answered, I started adding numbers into my phone's contacts. Doing this let these callers come right through, and helped with call blocking. I set it up so that callers I didn't recognize would have to press the pound button on their phones to get through. This eliminates robocalls, but real-live telemarketers can still get through.---------------------------------------➡️ CALL BLOCKING FEATURE:Call blocking only works if your phone service provider has caller-ID enabled for your account.It works like this...When a call comes through that you have not put on your call block list already, or that your provider has not filtered, you get an audio announcement of the number and associated caller name. You can disable the audio announcement if desired.You can then decide if you want to answer or block the call. If you wish to block it, you press the call block button on the handset which is in the lower right corner. That stops the call from coming through and the ringing stops on the phone.Call blocking has been a life-changing feature for us. The combination of our cable provider phone service and this phone has eliminated 98% of our telemarketing calls and all of the robocalls. We no longer have to unplug our phones to get some sleep, and the calls we do get are nice and clear.------------------------------------------The top 3 reasons I purchased this phone system...1. I bought this for my elderly mother who still doesn't have a cell phone. She doesn't like technology or things complicated at her age. She has an AT&T Wireless Home Phone Device sold through AT&T. It is half the monthly cost of a landline phone and you don't have to pay for long distance in the United Stated. It works just like a home phone except it picks up a cell signal and works with a normal landline type phone. She gets sales calls and robo calls all the time. She got where she would not answer her phone and would just go back and listen to the messages. I thought the caller announce would be great for her. The problem with the AT&T Wireless Home Phone is that it only sends a Caller ID number and not the name to the phone. The good thing about the AT&T BL102-2 DECT 6.0 2-Handset Cordless Phone is that if you enter your frequent callers into the phone's Directory, it will announce the name that is stored in the phones Directory even if the name is not sent through with the Caller ID. This phone holds up to 50 Directory Names. Of course this phone also shows the name of the caller even if the name is not sent with the Caller ID number. Another thing I like is the phone's answering system is easy (even for my elderly mother) to use. I like the larger numbers that light up. I wish the Green Call Button and the Red Hangup Button would light up as well but it is not a problem. I did not even set up the call blocker system. My mom only answers the phone when it is from someone that is in the stored Directory. She is good at listening to and deleting any left messages from sales or robo calls. When I was setting up the phone, the voicemail system on my mom's AT&T Wireless Home Phone would pick up before this phone. Luckily there is a AT&T Phone number that you can call to have the voicemail deactivated on my my mom's AT&T wireless home phone. I thought the hand units and bases seemed really light, but once you get the set up, they are not a problem. When you see the 180 something page manual, I thought it would be real complicated. The menu system in the phone is really not bad at all when you get the feel of it. I like the fact that I can add additional units if we need them. I bought the phone that had one additional handset. I am happy and my mother is happy. If my mom makes new friends or needs to add someone to the directory. She writes down the name and number and I will enter it in on my next visit. This phone will work great for us. The call blocker options on the phone are great too, but for my mom, I am just keeping it simple. I would buy again.

These work great and are easy to install. You can see and read the display very easily. I like the large buttons, and the color set-up works well in all the rooms.

Be aware! Design flaw!!! I want to love this phone, I love the clear voice quality, the answering machine, the big fond and the speaker volume. BUT THERE IS ONE DESIGN FLAW that makes this phone completely useless --- IT DOES NOT STAND ON ITS OWN. This means every time you take it with you, you have to hold it. If you are on a long customer service call, and you want to work in the kitchen or the laundry room, you cannot put it down. It doesn't stand. The bottom of this phone is tilted, not flat. So you have to hold it all the time. I replaced my old Panasonic phone whose battery was dying over the course of 15 years. But at least Panasonic stands on itself. Over the past 15 years, most of the time when I use the phone I was NOT holding it. I let it stand on its own and keep the speaker on, so I can do other things with my hands while talking on the phone. This AT&T phone is not going to work for me. Hard to believe they would design something like that. The photoes show the AT&T phone on the left that does not stand on its own. Panasonic is on the right, which can stand by itself.
