CAMRIG Generation4 Line Mount for GoPro Hero 3, 3+, 4, Entry Hero

The media could not be loaded.  Worked well I was happy and comfortable hooking up my camera and not being worried about losing my camera. I used this with my GoPro 8 Camera. It did not fit with the housing or floaty attachments but it screws on to the mounts fairly securely. I would recommend getting some lens protectors as the camera will get drug through the sand at one point or another. Next time I will try to move the camera back a little bit or mess with the resolution. The GoPro software can adjust the frame that will keep the subject upright in the frame but it squeezes in and cuts out the board as you can see in the video clip I shared. It did get a little tangled in light wind.

great idea for getting kiting video, and I think this is better than another cheaper one I tried. I don't recommend self- launching in light winds with this though, as it can tangle the lines if there is not enough tension (not really a complaint as I ca't see a way to line mount a camera without this problem.

If you're looking to record your sessions to analyze later, I found this to be the perfect angle. It's very solid built and I trust it with my gopro without a floater.

By far the best mount made for Kiteboarders and other action sports athletes. I own about 5 different Camrig mounts and use them with my GoPro. The quality is great. The Generation 4 Line Mount is a must have for any people that participate in action sports.
