Retro Fit Water Filter for Hose
I purchased this to add to my hose so I can wash my car. I live in Vegas and the hard water and my retro' a tive water softener don't work. Every time I try to wash my car it streaks all over when it is dried.This item arrived two days ago and I immediately washed my car. Pulled it into the garage to dry in the shade and for the first time in years after I dried my car it looked Ike I went to the car wash. I love the results.I hope it lasts more than one washing. If it lasted two months it woukd be worth it.Now, I want to figure out how to washMy hair with this water filter. The same stuff that made my car smugy also weighs down my hair!

Keep your nozzles from clogging. Works well.
I buy one a year for my AC mist system. These make a difference and preserve your mist nozzles.

It works
My roommate installed one of these last year, and it kept the nozzles working the whole season. That was after he installed a line without a filter and the nozzles were clogged with calcium.I bought new nozzles and a filter and we were trouble free for the season.

Great product 5 star but unresponsive customer service.
Use on my mister system but no response from question sent to their customer service as to the life of the product.

Really works on misting systems.
Keeps my misters from plugging up. Easy to change when needed about every 6 months.

Leaks
I just can’t get this right enough on the hose to not leak. Seems to filter the calcium out of what does go through the filter but leaving a lot of water on the ground. Giving it three stars on the off chance that our hose is the problem, but probably do not recommend.

The case leaked at the base of the filter, this appears to be a common problem with the most recent reviews, probably have a manufacturing defect

Works well on my evap cooler in the garage
I was able to use this in-line on an evaporative cooler I have in the garage so that the pads would be spared from the hard water, so far so good. Easy to use
