Worked instantly
Bought this is I will generally get bitten of there’s something around to bite me and was off to Majorca where there’s a fair few mosquitos.Got a bite on my leg and woke up with a very itchy lump behind my knee. Used the heat pad on it when I got up on the 3 second mode and it pretty much stopped itching instantly! I was very impressed and relieved! The lump did itch all day and the swelling got less. The heat pad is very hot but it’s bearable for a few seconds especially when it works. This is going to be very useful in the future 🙂

Brilliant buy
I was almost put off by people saying it was too painful and too hot. Having tried it myself I can confidently say these reviews were unjustified. It's a bite and it's not going to be helped by a machine that offers a gentle, warm, pleasant massage, so if that's what you're expecting you'll be disappointed. Its a bit,'zingy', aye and it is hot, but it's 3 seconds you can distract yourself through followed by 5 minutes of 'oo. Still a bit zingy (1/10 pain)' then blissful relief for hours and hours afterwards. Not just better symptoms, gone symptoms. Need to apply again? no problem. The wait between doses is minimal. Much better than a medication. Good quality. Great portability. Dinky size. If you can accept this is a stinging sensation which is unpleasant, get one, because the reward far outweighs the temporary discomfort.

Useful for a guy named "Most Attractive Man" ten years running by "Mosquito Weekly" magazine
I may not be the most handsome guy in the world, but mosquitoes think I am utterly delicious. I can't seem to attract a human mate, but whilst mosquitoes exist, I will never be alone. Yes, I really did win those awards. Last year I was even a centrefold...I am covered in a very different kind of "love bite". Hey, they say love hurts, right?I was very sceptical that this product would help - I've tried the "clicker" ones which produce a mild electric current, which feel like a rubber band being slapped against the bite, but apart from slightly electrocuting me, these left the bites feeling just as sore and itchy as before. So, electrocuting myself doesn't help.Antihistamine creams give the bites a lovely sheen and seem to bring out that attractive redness, so I look like I'm covered in greasy boils, but they don't do anything for the itching either. So, understand I was sceptical that a device which heated my skin for a few seconds was going to do anything, but hey, I am a single middle-aged male who can only get mosquitoes to come anywhere near me, so I have spare cash to waste on more useless gadgets. I don't spend it on dates. The thing is though, this little gadget pretty much works. It won't cure your bite magically, but it does calm down the itching and reduce the swelling a little. You can use it for 3 seconds or 6 seconds, but I am a very hardcore, rugged bloke (yeah right, I wouldn't be single if I was) so I went straight for the 6. Anyone impressed yet? Date? No?You turn it on with a tiny switch, which seems unnecessarily tiny, even to a bloke like me...Seriously, it fine for me but it's very small and and it's white on a white background so could be easier to use. Once it's switched on, a single click gives you 3 seconds, a double click gives you 6 seconds. Same principle as a computer mouse, but more awkward because you're holding it at an angle on your skin with one hand and trying to do a quick double-click with the other.Someone else doing it for you would help here, but this presents obvious problems for someone like me. Bitter, I?Anyway, it's hot but not unbearably so and it's all over quite quickly (oh dear, I am just handing people the lines now aren't I?)It could be redesigned to be easier to use, especially for people who are covered in mosquito bites and so, like me, may have difficulty in getting other humans to approach them. It is the bites that's the reason. I believe that.I need to believe that.Anyway, seriously. A couple of ease of use niggles aside, this product works to reduce itching and swelling from insect bites. It cools down very quickly and is compact and easy to store. If you are as attractive to mosquitoes as I am, whether or not fellow humans feel the same about you, it's worth a look.

Works. Simple as that.
It works. Simply zap the bite. Yes it gets a little hot, but its only 6 seconds. No bump, no itch, slight mark which went after a couple of days. Game changer as someone who gets bitten a lot!

Works so well
I took this on holiday and remembered I had it when I got a big, itchy bite on my foot - I double-clicked it as I held it against the bite, and I got instant relief! We've all used it quite a few times since, and it really calms a bite. It works so well and I love that it's pretty small and can be attached to a bag or keyring, so I can keep it with me over the summer or on holiday.

No good for me, but is it.
I went to Spain where I knew I'd be bitten, and I was. I bought this gadget but it didn't really make any difference, I was really disappointed as I normally suffer for a few days with mosquetto bites.I was disappointed as I thought this might of been the answer.2 months on from my review , thought I would try it again and it really does work, stopped the constant itching in bed at night. Very good gadget.

Cold Sore Miracle!
The media could not be loaded. So I purchased this after reading that it may help stop cold sores in it's tracks if caught early enough in the tingling period.I've suffered pretty badly with the Herpes virus for years, and the majority of creams and lotions don't really do anything apart from numb the pain. When I had heard about this device, I was excited to give it a try.It is a small black, rounded edge device which is easy to hold and use. It comes with 2 x batteries in the box and an instruction manual. It has a little switch on the side for the power and the light, then a round button on the front. You put the device directly onto the area then click the round button once for a 3 second heat zap (sensitive skin), or twice for a 6 second heat zap.It gets quite hot but nothing completely unbearable for me.I then cleaned it and put it away. What do you know, it stopped it in it's tracks! The tingling was instantly stopped and I was just left with a slightly red area where the heat had been applied. I went about my normal day and when I woke up the next morning, there was no sign of it even there! This is a fantastic value device and I'm thrilled to have finally found something that works!Make sure that you invest in some antibacterial wipes to keep it clean and sanitised.
