Great vintage fan
We shopped for a very long time for a vintage floor-standing fan that was all-metal. It was surprising to me how difficult it was to find a fan with those relatively simple criteria. Many of the fans we found had "vintage look", but were cheap and made partially of plastic. Or plastic coated plastic. Or "resin"... i.e. more plastic. Or wouldn't tell you the materials of which they were made. Or were only desktop size. And so on.This fan, by contrast, is 100% metal, has a great vintage look to it, and is heavy. Every part of it is made of metal, including the fan blade. And the metal is not some cheap, paper thin type of metal. It is heavy, and sturdy. It is not going to be easily knocked over by a pet, or a drunk uncle. It is exactly what we wanted.Other reviewers have complained that the fan is too "loud" and that the fan speeds are all too high for their tastes. Well, maybe. I would say, though, that "loud" is s subjective judgment, and whether you think it is loud depends on what you want, and what your expectations are.The reason we bought this fan is because we wanted not only the vintage look, but the vintage feel, of a fan from a different era. This fan reminds me of something out of the 1940s, like Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman should be sitting in the room with us in Casablanca. And fans from that era were louder than fans made today. So to me, the loudness is not a negative, and actually more of a positive. It is more of what I would expect a vintage fan to sound like.I would also say that the loudness is not overwhelming by any stretch of the imagination. Although I would temper that by saying that the loudness on the "high" setting is notable. Some people may not like that amount of volume. But overall I disagree with reviewers who say that it too loud. To me it is a normal amount of loudness, and it isn't "whisper quiet" like many modern fans are. So if you want whisper quiet, especially on all settings including 'high', then this isn't the fan for you. But I think the loudness issue is being blown out of proportion. So if you're OK with a normal amount of noise, and maybe you even like that, then you should be OK with this fan. I liked everything about it. Quality. Price. Look. Amount of air flow. Oscillation. Ability to adjust angle of fan up and down. All metal. Assembly was extremely easy. We didn't have the problems that others had with difficulty threading the cord through the fans interior, dropping tiny screws, or whatever. It was together in ten minutes, and now sits in our dining room.Maybe we just lucked out and got one of the good ones, but nevertheless, I'm pretty happy.

Good fan, moves air for sure!
Got this fan for something a little more stylish than a regular pedastal fan you'd buy at the hardware store or Walmart....and, it delivers. It looks nice, looks like the photo. It's not flimsy, it is sturdy. The instructions aren't perfect, definitely 1 or 2 steps lost in translation, but they're not terrible and it takes 10 mins to put together. The middle rod that you thread through the blades, the cap is actually clockwise to loosen, counterclockwise to tighten. And to pull the cap off I had to use pliers to hold the rod while I unscrewed it. The 4 screws that come out are labeled like they are a part. Again, a little lost in translation probably. But that's it, nothing you can't figure out and they link to a QR code YouTube videos in the manual. The videos may not be your exact fan model but you'll figure it out.So how's the fan? It oscillates and definitely puts out air. Low is a more than adequate setting. Medium is like what you'd expect for high and High is turbo blast.I'll update this review later after a few months to see how it holds up.Edit: The fan color is a dark bronze color in direct light, and very dark in the shadows/shade. Attached photos show the color.

Mixed feelings here.
I love the way the fan looks, the sturdinees, the Victorian design, but it is way too noisy on low for a bedroom. Not one of our smaller, older fans is this noisy. So I put it in the dining room because that room gets warm, and it looks great, and noise won't be an issue in there. Also, the color picture is way off and shows the fan as a brown one. However, the Cantalonia, brushed copper fan is actually black, not brown. Now to go online and find a QUIET fan for our bedroom.

Perfect fan!
The media could not be loaded. Previously I got the smaller version of this fan and put it in my bedroom and I absolutely loved it and it helped move air around perfectly! I actually ended up getting cold and finally had a need to use my comforter! I decided that with spring coming around the corner and it being 85 degrees now in February (I live in the south where 98% of the year it’s hot), I can figure that my electric bill will be out of this world come summer. I have a 4k sq ft home so I decided since the little fan does an amazing job, I should get more and put them around my house to help circulate air so that hopefully it gives my two A/C units a break. These fans are great quality, give off great cold air, multiple settings, extremely easy to put together (I never looked at the instructions), and they look great (at least with my decor).I have three; two small and one big and love them. And I will probably end up with more for my upstairs.NOTE: the remote control I use in the video does not come with the fan. I bought on Amazon a remote control outlet (I highly recommend if you’re like me and don’t use an Alexa or Siri).

Rubbish, cheap resin for $289! What a mess!
This is such a scam. It is advertised as being metal or bronze but trust me, it's a big hunk of resin. It is very over priced. The resin is painted and comes in several parts including the blades, 2 grills that cover the blades, a base and two large sections making up the stand. Each is painted and none of the pieces match. This is not cast in metal as stated in the ad. It is cast in resin and although it resembles the pictures, it is not cast in metal and hard finished. It is painted and looks sloppy and horrible. This purchase was a horrible inconvenience. I did get my money back after repackaging, driving to UPS and waiting a week. Amazon should not let these people get away with false advertising and selling this cheap junk on their site. This is the second time I've had to leave feedback for this. The first time it was not published.

Great product at a great price
This is a very good fan with metal guards and fan. Looks good and great operation. Ended up buying another shorter one from same seller.
